I think Knee's defence really paid off in the final two games where Knee had been going all offence, and then chilled out and played a balanced mix of both, Sidestepping many of Victor's Moves at the end of the Set once Knee had gathered data on Arslan's Attack Patterns. Awesome Set.
Not really…. Knee beat Ars convincingly at Gamers8. Knee just choked at TWT against CBM.
Jesus Christ, I cannot believe knee come back to win 😮
That's why there's a saying, "never underestimate the heart of a champion."
Knee is The Legend
@1:02:32 the range on that move is a sin
Arsalan is emperor of tekken..just wait and watch it's just the beginning of show there are lots of tournaments ahead
Both did great
1:00:45 this was my favorite moment. I thought Knee would have died from that hit even in armor.
amazing play by the korean legend
Funny in tekken 8 where everyone is expected to just spams attacks knees defensive ability gives more pleasure to watch than before
Because he knows Arslan is very strong in SS punishing...It was shown when he was using Bryan..
Dragunov however is a different character..
Knee handicapped himself with a character like Bryan...
@@SK-ju8si maybe some strategy. he needs to learn and adapt to arslan first. then after he knew arslan style he can just defend
but this also good for arslan. if you win again and again. nothing gained from.
you need to lose sometimes to understand your own weakness.
just like me. i lose to many times and realized that im suck. ty
Spag going absolutely insane at this monstrosity of a showdown is my highlight!!!! HOLY!!!🤣
good ass tekken - these guys dont dissappoint, love these two!
23:04 - that read on the low, oh my..
both players showed great tenacity and perseverance on their FT10.
GGS to both.
One of the biggest comeback I've seen
Knee GG !!!!!
That was some good ass Tekken lol. Ggs for both of these guys !
every tournament of fighting game especially evo matches should be like this. first to 10 win. that way. we can see who is actually stronger. they were push to the limit. as we can fully see how crazy good on attacking arslan is but weaker when he get punish. and we can see knee with his consistency on defending that resulting with a crazy punish. as a result of first to 10 win. crazy comeback scene like this is up there. people will be more hype with it. cause fatigue join the matches too like other esports. come on evo step up your esport entertainment. we not gonna get bored watching a one hour match. we even watch csgo dota and valorant tour that play in a long ass time. we are a gamer! step up your game tekken organizer!
Yeah, the tournament would last 10 days, better not.
@@lucastonoli3256 its okay. its for the game tournament excitement. some player maybe good on the long game format. and we might get different top contender if they did that. cause fatigue is also on the line. new strategy and strats might come if they did that. ive been following tekken pro plays since the beginning of fury and sho the classic plays with eddie paul and heihachi picks dominating the game. but nothing change much from the scene since 1998 and it get bored. hope they make some crazy changes to the format tho. its 2024.
I knew knee won whenever comments are wholesome.
fax dude
I disagree. This comment comes from a very twisted and Un-wholesome place. If knee had lost, we would not have this kind of negativity claiming to be positivity. You’d be silent as you were for last 6 years lmao.
Taking the cheap shots at people favoring the other player, and calling it wholesome. No, sir!
Sad but true
Its honestly kinda saddening that this is the case. When Arslan or another pakistani wins, the comment section is often filled with toxicity towards anyone non-pakistani. This wasnt the case really for any other fanbase before the pakistani scene grew public in 2019.
I also think that is the reason many otherwise non-biased fans now often are rooting against pakistanis.
i love arslan, hes a timid guy and doesnt say much. but SOME of his fans are toxic.
KNEE: Give me strength, JDCR...
KNEE IS THE GREATEST TEKKEN PLAYER WOW 😮💪🏿💯
what is the prize pool of this tour? , i bet it's huge since its abu Dhabi
Clash of the titans 🎉 these 2 tho. I hope Knee plays well into his 40s so the rivalry will continue!
Commenting is beautiful lol keeps you engaged .
The one thing i know being a player of tekken since tekken 2 is that control your anger while playing tekken Arslan was angry knee was calm at their bad times during the games ...huge respect for both players
Both are crazy mf , playing 19 match straight, downloading each other, both are the winner , no no ! We are the winner , thank u abu dhabi for this exhibition ❤
와 진짜 명경기였네.지렸다
Great match! Congrats to Knee. Arslan became too complacent when he reached 9 and relaxed. Never underestimate your opponent. Always crash your enemy.
He didn't become complacent, he realized his mashing wasn't working anymore and played more carefully. He became downloaded.
Arslan was legit outplaying him then he lost to a cheap broken character. He will find an answer to all that broken shit dont worry about that. It would be a beatdown if knee didnt switch to drag lol. @@dantemeriere5890
@@dantemeriere5890 not that either. Knee was losing with Bryan and only thing he changed was character. There was no download, dragunov is not only cracked himself, Arslan seems to be quite unfamiliar with the character just like knee seemed to be against Victor.
You could say “download” if knee started winning with Bryan after losing so much. He didn’t win with Bryan, he changed the character and then started winning.
@@Fereshtey Then watch again. It was 6 to 2 for Arslan. SIX TO TWO. Then Knee started dominating and brought it back with BRYAN. That's why the commenters were saying he was making an incredible comeback and that Arslan was now sweating for every round. To say he wasn't "winning" with Bryan is a shameless lie. At the start of the set Knee was eating powercrushes repeatedly, he wasn't punishing Arslan's mistakes, he was falling for mashing, etc. Then Knee began to side step Arslan constantly, to interrupt his mashing, to shutdown his offense and to punish his random launchers. With BRYAN. By then the commenters were saying Arslan was struggling. This is DOWNLOADING your opponent, and it started way before he switched. The bulk of Arslan's wins were at the start of the set.
Knee realized that Arslan was struggling as well, and decided it was a good time to give Arslan a taste of his own medicine. Arslan had 6 matches to adapt to Dragunov, that's as much as Knee had before adapting to Arslan's playstyle. Arslan also switched characters, and he still couldn't do anything. Let's stop making up excuses here, this was a monumental download.
By the end, Arslan wasn't "complacent", he was AFRAID of pressing buttons and getting punished. His playstyle just wasn't working anymore.
he was lossing 7-3 with bryan before the drag pick. I dont know what you getting at lol
@@dantemeriere5890
That’s why he’s the GOAT!!!
Great aggressive & pressure fighting style from Arslan but Knee’s just OP on defense. The best T8 matchup I’ve watched so far. Can’t expect nothing less with these 2.
Btw, PA’s obviously a Knee fan. 😅
this was in my city and i didnt know about it😭
아슬란님도 대단하긴하다 나이 감안 한다면 무름님 넘사내 경기 잘봤습니다
나이 감안하면 진짜 ㄷㄷ
둘다 대단함. evo에서 둘이 만나는거 너무 기대됨
who screwed the framerate
무릎님 승리도 축하하지만 공격적인 스타일을 많이 봐서 좋네요
both play broken characters and even the odds.
love it.
Knee only evened the odds 3 rounds away from losing. He should've switched way earlier.
@@Viewer13128 Bryan has so many safe moves that also add pushback, i can see why he sticked to him.
@@arturiaarthus8367 Are you certain that's the reason? Because Knee said he was struggling with Arslan's unfamiliar ranged style, so it seems counterintuitive to consistently give Arslan free range after every exchange.
