I'm not saying kids can't handle mature content 😂 just saying this movie is for kids. Plus I do know that animation is for everyone no matter what age! I'm a huge fan of anime 😁
Well, it's a kid's movie that tries to be an adult-ish movie, which is where a lot of the criticism stems from. Its story is more mature, but in the midst of telling the story, it can feel as though it's not sure if it wants to be all Disney-magical or more mature and serious.
Was it just me or did anyone else think when elsa's died and Anna found out that it was really emotional. I wish he woulda talked ab it more. I dont know if anyone else thought it had some parallels to mental health?
How so? As a gay person, Elsa's story always reminded me of a coming out story. Let It Go is like learning to accept your sexuality / gender identity; Into the Unknown is beginning to question your cishet-ness but being afraid to find the answer; Show Yourself is trying to find a place where you belong, or trying to find someone else to give you the validation you wanted, but realising it most important thing is to accept yourself first. And yes it was really emotional when Anna found out. The Next Right Thing is one of my favourite songs from the movie and idk why no one seems to like it too 😢
@@phadenswandemil4345 so in the beginning of the song she says "I've seen darkness, but nothing like this before" (something like that lol) and idk the whole song to me kinda just sounds like I've been through hard times but this is a pain and numbness I have never felt before, this is harder, this is worse, what do I do from here. "Can there be any day beyond this dark" like is this ever going to get better, if not then why go one. I'm not gonna analyze the whole song but these are a couple parts of the song that I realated to and stood out to me. Now I know for a fact that u perceive things in how they relate to u. So where as let it go, could mean coming out or accepting ur sexuality, to me it means coming out of this fake person u are trying to be, getting away from the mask of normalness that everyone wants to see and being urself. That is why movies and music are so amazing u relate to them on whatever level. And I have felt the way she sings, in the first part at least, and it sounds as if she could just give up, how much easier giving up would be than moving forward and all that kinda stuff. Thank u so much for replying tho, keep talking I love analyzing movies and seeing from different perspectives:)

That totally reminds me, when Frozen came out I Saw Elsa and Jack Frost From Dreamworks it’s was a best fan art ever. Except for Elsa and Spider-Man that’s weird as hell.
Amphibious 17 weird adults just took the two most popular characters for girls and boys and put them together in weird kid videos to get views. no, its not an actual thing.
^ This! OMG this! I walked out of the theater feeling empowered by that song as a fully grown adult male. It's such a powerful reminder of what to do when everything seems hopeless.
Honestly, I was on pain meds when I went to see it the first time and with the plot jumping around as much as it did, I got confused with the storyline. Watching this, I’m still confused. I had really high expectations for the movie because of the commercials. The movie was stunning visually but strip that away and the plot was messy and the music I feel could have been improved. Into the Unknown was it’s saving grace, but still felt like a hand-me-down Let it Go. I really did want to like it but it was disappointing at best.
Gonna be honest, Samantha being an improvised line makes so much sense, cause it's clear that the line following it is Josh's realizing what he said and cracking up at the mistake.
I need people to appreciate "The Next Right Thing" as the amazing accurate portrayal of grief. My mom died shortly after I had seen Frozen 2 the first time and that song has become something that allows me to feel the pain and feel like there's words to describe it
True, it just goes to show that 99.9 % of sequels only exist because the original made a lot of money, and they're blatantly trying to cash in on that success!💶
I enjoyed the movie, but I understand a lot of the criticism. The movie is trying to be both more mature and still retain its Disney persona, and as a result, the story often can't decide which way to lean.
I fell asleep when they enter the magical forest and when I woke up when Ana is crowned queen....missing the middle... In other words slept through the whole movie!
I'm not sure that I liked it more than the first, but oh my gosh the characters are just so good and relatable. It also brings up a lot of really heavy issues, like what grief feels like or that it's okay to be angry with someone you love when they push you away. We don't get a lot of kids movies like that.
That feel when Tangled the Series executes the “Protagonist goes out into the unknown to discover a mysterious destiny” plot a million times better than Frozen 2 while also giving it’s male characters actual character development instead of just pushing them to the sidelines and treating them like an afterthought. Also, Tangled didn’t feel the need to retcon anyone’s established race, so that’s also a good thing.
Maleficent and Frozen are my favorite movies of all time. I really relate to Elsa as a older sister who isolate herself and as someone who doesn't talk about their problems and feelings much. The story amazing and heartwarming with beautiful animation and the music was really remarkable. For Frozen 2, I love the animation and the music. The story was interesting but not as good as the first one. I really have come to love Olaf, I liked him in the first movie, but I really fell in love with him. Also, I understand why people are saying that Kristoff was treated badly in this movie, but I think that this movie is more about Elsa and Anna learning more about their family and Elsa's powers, so I can understand why they didnt give him much attention. I really liked how Elsa encountered the spirits, and the fighting scene with the water scene was my favorite. Overall, even though the story wasn't as great as the first movie, I have to give them props for the animation and music. And the story did have its heartbreaking moments and happy moments that made the movie interesting. I would give it a 7 out of 10 and I will probably watch it and the first movie in order to get a good comparison.
Why is Tangled better anyway, I read a lot of people saying that and I just think it is a pretty cliche princess movie, while Frozen at least try to get out of the same mold. The main character plays a "villain" role, no stupid cool-boy prince, not standardized characters like Rapunzel that is just an innocent cute girl, and at least the villain is not an old witch who doesn't want to age. Same with the second one.
It doesn’t matter if a movie tries to break a mold if it fails in other aspects, tangled is the same formula we’ve seen over and over again but perfected and in result enjoyable, I don’t know if it is better than the first frozen movie but it’s definitely better than the second one, the plot was just all over the place (in my opinion)

@@PussInBootsTheLastWishFan2003 Frozen 2 was trash and tangled is way better
@@lunar_eclipse_444 no it’s not
"The Next Right Thing" is the ultimate depression/anti-depression anthem of our time, I said what I said
Jasmine Smith incredibly underrated
YAS!! I listen to it whenever I'm feeling down and it's amazing.
Literally screamed YES when he said Tangled is still better 👏🏻
SAME!!
Nope
MEEE lol
“Into The Unknown is the new Let It Go”
Show Yourself: *am i a joke to you?*
Also, Show Yourself was Much more emotional. I cried when she sang with her mother.
Love all the research and interview snippets you integrate into your videos I know you're extremely busy watching all these films, but it would make my day if you did an LME on Anne With An E on Netflix. S3 comes out on Jan 3. Netflix canceled it because of their stupid three season only rule. The creator wrote episodes of Breaking bad + the cast of young actors are so talented (Think: Stranger Things) It deserves to be saved and I hope you can help do that w/ a video
FallingForFiction omg out of all the videos of lme this is the first awae comment ive seen. YESS PLZ do an lme on it! That show covers so many topics & deserves the world ugh
What 3 season rule?

FallingForFiction
What’s with that 3s rule?
YES PLS YES PLS
I actually kinda enjoyed the movie. But yeah not everyone's cup of tea considering it is a kids movie lol
Joanna Ramirez animation is for everyone
I'm not saying kids can't handle mature content 😂 just saying this movie is for kids. Plus I do know that animation is for everyone no matter what age! I'm a huge fan of anime 😁
Well, it's a kid's movie that tries to be an adult-ish movie, which is where a lot of the criticism stems from. Its story is more mature, but in the midst of telling the story, it can feel as though it's not sure if it wants to be all Disney-magical or more mature and serious.
@Winifred Eghrudje I don't think the movie is dumb down. Technically the technical term is Family movie not Kids movie.
What about Pixar films?
Can we appreciate AURORA's part in into the unknown
THANK YOU
We all know the main villain of Frozen 2 is Samantha.
"Olaf is Officially a Psychopath" I died of laughter when he said that 😂😂😂
Was it just me or did anyone else think when elsa's died and Anna found out that it was really emotional.
Hello darkness. I'm ready to succumb. (Yes almost everyone will go with my old friend)
And the part where she goes this grief has a gravity.
It's so damn bloody true. The next right thing hits the nail on losing someone you hold dear and grief.
@@Arachisage it hit so hard for me I started tearing up lol. Another movie I found to have parallels to something was toy story 4(the newest one). Relationships of the toys to their children could be compared to romantic relationships. I also cried during that too
@@staciekemp8983 yeah toy story 4 is an absolute tear jerker too. They really did well catering to the returning audiences and the younger generation seeing toy story for the first time
I literally hit the like button when you said TANGLED IS STILL BETTER
LME: tangled is still better

"Tangled is better"

Tangled is my favorite movie 🍿 🎥
"No matter what, at the end of the day, 'Tangled' is still better."
"TANGLED IS STILL BETTER". I'm literally clapping on that one comment! YES! Thank you!!! - liked and subscribed.
That totally reminds me, when Frozen came out I Saw Elsa and Jack Frost From Dreamworks it’s was a best fan art ever. Except for Elsa and Spider-Man that’s weird as hell.
Amphibious 17 Please don’t look it up. It’s not for kids.
Amphibious 17
weird adults just took the two most popular characters for girls and boys and put them together in weird kid videos to get views. no, its not an actual thing.
I work in a movie theater and when I got a notification for this I almost started crying, you don't understand this movie will haunt me for years
they just don't understand frozen, sometimes they forgot this is disney movie.
"the next right thing" is to me the most underrated song in the movie.
yea it sounds simple at first, but its actually really good advice for someone dealing with anxiety or grief. its inspiring
^ This! OMG this! I walked out of the theater feeling empowered by that song as a fully grown adult male. It's such a powerful reminder of what to do when everything seems hopeless.
That song was really good
“Tangled is still better.”
Me: PREACH IT BROTHA
Isn't Show Yourself the new Let it Go? Everyone just thought Into the Unknown was going to be the new Let it Go because that song was everywhere...
Its both. The writers wrote two songs for idina, not that any of the interviewers really cared.
Yeah I think Show Yourself makes more sense since it's about in the same place as let it go in the first one as far as where its placed in the movie
"tangled is better"
Me: " ON GOD FR ON- ON GOD"
Honestly, I thought Show Yourself was the new 'Let It Go.'
Frozen 2: Olaf is insane
Seconded, while Olaf never really came off as annoying in the first movie, he was a little over the top in the sequel!⛄❄
"Tangled is still better"
Your dam right it is
When you make a sequel with the aim of making a sequel, instead of continuing a story, it’s bound to be a huge question mark.
Gonna be honest, Samantha being an improvised line makes so much sense, cause it's clear that the line following it is Josh's realizing what he said and cracking up at the mistake.
Samantha was one of my favorite parts in this movie.
I really really like all the scenes with Olaf in it. He's just so funny , satirical and just lift the whole mood up
"That Usher hum" *wheeze* i just watched that video lmao
No
*dont explain.*
But we want him to explain.
@woke kyr what is this
"and at the end of the day, tangled is still better." PREACH HONESTLY
i remember laughing so much about the “samantha” bit in the theatre and just watching this i did as well.
Most of y'all are sleeping on Show Yourself and it really shows
I need people to appreciate "The Next Right Thing" as the amazing accurate portrayal of grief. My mom died shortly after I had seen Frozen 2 the first time and that song has become something that allows me to feel the pain and feel like there's words to describe it
when he said "Elsa's now a poc" I SCREAMEDD
I seen both A BILLION TIMES and it’s bootiful!
I loved this movie, and that ending.
Damn I was hoping you’d talk about show yourself when you were explaining the music...that song is really getting overlooked and it’s a shame
tangled is waaaaaay better
Best film of 2019, I love it to bits and can't get enough!
You should make a vid on Tangled, like for real (unless there already is one but I couldnt find it)
Or the animated series! It's pretty plot heavy, really good, and is on its last season now. All Tangled fans should definitely watch it.
@@thatwrengirl been meaning to watch that but havent gotten around to it 😅
i swear, olaf was having an existential crisis the entire movie, didn’t expect to relate so much to a snowman
"Tanlged is still better" KING
Omygod samantha was improvised LMAO and now it's the most memorable part of the movie
Yasssss I've been waiting for you to do this!! I've watched it 3 times at the cinema 😍
Heck yes Tangled is better. Been saying it since the beginning
Frozen: *first ever sibling bond*
Me: *holds Lilo and Stitch* is this movie a joke to you
Frozen 2 fell flat to me, the songs felt out of place with most scenes and the story was jumbled.
True, it just goes to show that 99.9 % of sequels only exist because the original made a lot of money, and they're blatantly trying to cash in on that success!💶
100% agree
Yep, basically
I enjoyed the movie, but I understand a lot of the criticism. The movie is trying to be both more mature and still retain its Disney persona, and as a result, the story often can't decide which way to lean.
@@trinaq Agreed.
I feel like anyone who discusses "when i am older" instead of "show yourself" hasn't ACTUALLY seen the movie...
I fell asleep when they enter the magical forest and when I woke up when Ana is crowned queen....missing the middle...
In other words slept through the whole movie!
Never would have thought Olaf was a psychopath.
I will say that the improv really works. It makes the dialogue seems real.
Olaf's explanation was better than yours😂 let him do all of your videos now 😂
7:05 so we not gonna talk about how this man almost said airbenders
The moment I gave this video a like: "And it teaches us the lesson that no matter what, at the end of the day... TANGLED IS STILL BETTER"
Tangled is one of Disney’s greatest movies 😂😂 #FENDIFAX
That usher joke tho
I'm not sure that I liked it more than the first, but oh my gosh the characters are just so good and relatable. It also brings up a lot of really heavy issues, like what grief feels like or that it's okay to be angry with someone you love when they push you away. We don't get a lot of kids movies like that.
I like how for like 3 minutes it’s just a vid and not him talking also can you do it chapter 2 or black Christmas (2019)
TFW when you've already watched the interviews he featured.
Favorite Disney movie of 2019 - Joker.
this look into the making of Frozen is absolutely awesome!! great great job on this video :)
00:09 oh my god
The samantha bit was improvised for the movie and it was my favorite part oml
“The four airbend- elements” lol
I'm was hoping for him to say let it go during the intro but he did LET me explain 😂😂
Even though this is movie old can you do a LME on “Princess and the frog” because I want to see your opinion on the movie.
I'd be so disturbed to live in Arendelle, like your fucking majesty stop screaming high notes at 3 AM. We know you can sing very well, thank you.
OMG THANK YOU
YES
Have you watched the Tangled Series?
It doesn’t matter if a movie tries to break a mold if it fails in other aspects, tangled is the same formula we’ve seen over and over again but perfected and in result enjoyable, I don’t know if it is better than the first frozen movie but it’s definitely better than the second one, the plot was just all over the place (in my opinion)
great. is The series
I adored it. Elsa’s voice is chilling.
