It just goes to show that hardworking, company guys who might not be the funniest people around can still maintain a steady career while also not marrying gold diggers, shemales, and minors.

Stations would probably have to keep records and have a signed statement declaring that the person called was an actor. FCC would have to wait for complaints if a show makes real prank calls, and since radio stations are ultra safe these days and don't want to face heavy fines, they look down at making real prank calls. DJs would prefer not to get fired, therefore, they make fake calls.
