I just found out about this pedal the other day but on this video you demonstrated it in a way that makes me understand what it does more completely. You presented a very methodical approach. I picked up an OBNE Dark Star months ago to basically do what this does for a fraction of the Dark Star price. I like how this responds to shorter decay times at higher mix. The way the controls work it seems like a great tool to create breathy textural notes. I think you just sold one for Mooer! I love your music and am finally subscribing.
Just bought (and sold lol) one atmosphere reverb by Joyo. This little boxes are amazing... Great review. Just wanting the dollar goes down cause here in Brazil is insanely high nowdays....
Thanks for spending time with each mode. It sounds like there are some digital artifacts the more the decay us turned-up. I'm curious how the pedal sounds when decay is at lower settings.
I own this one but I'm thinking of getting the Slo pedal too. It has some similarities wi the knobs, so my question is - should I need a Slo if I have the A7? I know it's not a direct '"clone" of it, but I can't find information online.
My only issue with ambient/synth pedals reviews is that it ONLY focuses on picked notes and doesn't feature how this pedal would work for rhythm parts/chords playing. I mean, surely guitar pedals weren't made for solos/notes playing only, right?
You should resolve this issue looking for other types of reviews, maybe more rock oriented. Man, if you watch ambient reviews it's hard to find rhythm parts, just because the genre is ambient, isn't it? There are a lot of clips with musicians who plays with distortions, chords or rhythm parts. Just watch those clips. These kind of comments here are meaningless.
Hi there, it depends on the sounds you want to create. A7 is good for playing drones, Atmosphere and Mariana have good ambience and some interesting modes.
Well, it has a good ambience in all modes and in the shimmer one has a beautiful pad that with the right knob mix is like diamond carpet behind your guitaring
The video followed a consistent format; demonstrate an A7 setting, and then keep turning knobs clockwise until you hear a non-musical digital mush. After the first few I just skipped to the next one. 7 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Despite that, the pedal is pretty cool and seems worth buying.
I just don't understand what the purpose of driving each effect into pure noise is, is it because it's fun?? To your credit, you started each setting out with some very usable and compelling tones, played well on guitar. I do like the pedal.....you're not the only You Tuber who is committed to demonstrating pedal self-oscillation and random noise making. Yeah, OK, it'll do that too....but I doubt that's the reason anyone buys a $99 pedal. I don't blame you, I blame the Beatles for starting this with A Day in the Life.

@@alexisrojasvaleria4745 no it doesn't

It looks like there's a "CHADS" adjustment. I'm sold!
That is in fact the greatest knob on any pedal of all time.

Thank you very much indeed 🙏
Excellent, the best I've heard for this pedal.
Thank you very much 🙏
Love this pedal. So small but so big...
🙏🙏🙏🍻
Superb video review, and I like how you time stamped all the effects 👍
Thank you very much 🙏
fantastic and relatively cheap. for only a musician and a drummer is a must to have some background for solos.

How about this one compare with Joyo atmosphere ?
Thank you in advance.

hall and shimmer is freakin nice like a synth pedal almost

Here the best review. Thanks.
Thanks a lot! 🙏
FedEx is bringing my slo as I write this. This might also be needed, dang it Perry...
Slo ❤ what a wonderful pedal 💣
I wasn't totally sold on a Slo but for $100 I couldn't resist this.
...I still haven't ruled out a Slo. Such is the way of our kind.
Love it so cool
🙏🙏🙏
You convince me. Thankx.
Perry you should do a review on your top 5 reverb pedals?
Thanks for the tips, I will probably do it

This is a great pedal. But the price is too high here in the Philippines. So I bought the Caline Wonderland that you demonstrated. 😁😁😁
Caline Wonderland is a little jewel, very good pedal
That’s really nice.
Thank you 🙏
Are you going to review the D-7 too? I think it might pair nicely with the slo... thanks Perry...
Yes I will, D7 review is scheduled in the next weeks
cool..,.
Thank you 🙏

Hello, what is the best buy?
1. MOOER A7
2. joyo atmosphere
3. Caline Mariana
Hi there, it depends on the sounds you want to create. A7 is good for playing drones, Atmosphere and Mariana have good ambience and some interesting modes.
do A7 already has trail?
How do you think it would do for ambient tape and synth loops?
Well, it has a good ambience in all modes and in the shimmer one has a beautiful pad that with the right knob mix is like diamond carpet behind your guitaring
I will try it with tape loops in next clips
It's such a pain and so expensive to buy Mooer in Australia. Moore is only available in limited models. Caline doesn't seem to have a importer
Didn't know about that. In Italy Mooer is on a budget
@@PerryFrank sadly the Australian importer likes to make a good markup
@@davidrobertson4301 in Italy this is what happens with pedals from US, there are a lot of taxes...

Звучит очень красиво. Можно бить случайные струны и все равно будет отлично звучать 😂
I can’t tell from the video, is it only mono output?
This is a mono pedal
