To me the way their relationship is going makes sense. She can’t be the one waiting for him her whole life. She has the right to have someone other than Ty too just like he did. They have to be with someone else to finally understand that their real love has been in front of them the whole time. Also, I think next season when annie sees lily get close to ty she then will realize she is not over ty yet. That she likes jackson (may add that I kinda like their relationship a bit) but she loves ty.
Why y'all want them together though. Their mom's are more then friends. They are like sisters and Ty, Annie and Kyle grew up close more like family. It's weird

Ty is still not grown up enough to accept what he feels for Annie is love. He and Kyle both have never told the truth about what really happened with them and Annie. I think that they would lie to everyone about it to make her look bad not them.
