We actually studied this sort of situation in school. If you work hard and sacrifice to get something, and then everyone is given the item for free, the best thing to do is (1) be happy for yourself because you got what you worked for and (2) be happy for your fellow man, as they got something that made them happy and their receiving it cost you nothing.
So weird how they did not check levels. They can easily arrange that at the machines, f.i. card activated. Location is nice, but not the resort for me. Fun to see something difference than cruise & parks. Love the quite area. That canyon is beautiful.
Great video! I had no idea that the Canary Islands were such a moonscape. Are all the islands like that? It looks a bit like Las Vegas with all the rocks and sparse vegetation. I don't think I was expecting a Hawaii level of lushness but I wasn't expecting such a lunar like landscape! Thanks for letting me tag along as an armchair traveler!
When i was there a few years ago. I did a day tour and the guide told us that 20-30 years ago it was all green with tomatoes bananas and such. But these days they use the water for the tourists since they bring more money than agriculture.
Hi going here at the end of the week just wondering what sort of travel times it is to the supermarket etc, are they accessible via walking or would it need to be a taxi service, same with the main areas etc? Thanks 🙏🏻
The supermarket is about a 2 minute drive and has a parking garage right in the same building. It is possible to walk, but as I mentioned in the video, it is very hilly. I guess I would think about how much you are planning to purchase, how heavy that will be to carry, and if you want to do that or not. I think you can probably take a taxi, but they'll give you a dirty look since it's not that far. Maybe you can negotiate with the driver in advance that they pick you up again in 45 minutes and drive you back so that they make a little more money. The main areas of the resort are also on a large variation of heights. Walking from the main building down to the beach, for instance, is a very big hill. I tried to show the difference in the video but maybe it didn't come across so well. I hope you have a good time and have lots of sun! Thank you so much for the extra support!
Thanks Morgan looks like a nice vacation if you were not that into the tennis. Maybe it would have been better if they had the correct amount of staffing.
Beautiful place. The “freeloaders” at the “all inclusive” taps would have made me question paying the higher rate, too, but in a way it doesn’t matter what the other people are doing (wrong)… that’s their karma (it’s stealing to do what they did) and you at least have good karma for paying for what you consumed! At least this is what I would have been telling myself in that situation!
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides wow, will be going in October with wife and a five year old in all inclusive for 1.100€ total. Not sure if your including flights and rental car, i am not, just hotel.
My interesting to myself thought...... after having been on 6 cruises, the only way I can see a destination resort working for me is if it focuses on something I am really into, but I just don't see that happening.... when I compare a land and cruise vacation... the cruise always gives more value and opportunity.
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuidesBack at you.... I can totally see these resorts for any manner of activity.....oh wait... ok I would consider a land based Scuba vacation, say in Bonaire or Curacao .. :) or maybe the Maldives, if I marry a millionaire.....
Thank you for the review. We are travelling to this hotel in 4 weeks. Do you know if the men need to wear trousers in the restaurant for dinner please? We're getting mixed responses elsewhere 😅 many thanks
This is one of my picks of hotels to go to in february. The only thing im worried about now is we are taking our parents who are 77yrs old. Would this hotel be to much for them due to being hilly. My mother has asthma but is reasonably fit.
It is very, very hilly. Walking from the main building down to the beach and back up is definitely a work out. I guess just plan a lot of extra time to get from A to B in the resort so your parents can take breaks and go at their own pace.
Great video Morgan, we are going there next month, I do a lot of running, is it possible to run to Morro Jable safely ? Whould you say it's best to have a ground floor room ? Do you pay for tennis ? Many thanks 👍
Well, if you like to run on the beach, I don't think that's too far if you are a frequent runner. Forget running on the street. I doubt that would work. I would try to ask for a room with an "open" balcony. The ground floor rooms will offer you very little privacy. Yes, we had to pay for tennis, which was a difference over the last time I was there. I think the resort sold the tennis facility to an external company and now it's run like it's own thing. I hope you have a great time! Send me some pictures!
Well I think that in an all inclusive hotel, there's no waiter coming to take your order for food and drinks!!! All inclusive means all inclusive and not A la Carte! Good video!
I don't blame you for the regret of paying for all-inclusive. And I have issues standing in one place more than 5 minutes. I can walk easier than stand due to pain being constantly transferred to the various parts of the foot hitting the ground while walking. While standing, the feet are constantly in contact with the ground on the same pressure points. This means standing in line for a beverage is a big deal, as opposed to being seated & having wait staff bringing me a beverage.
Hey Morgan, I am totally with you on the all inclusive thing - it totally irks me when everybody can take advantage of services that you have paid extra for! 😂 Like on an airplane when I've paid for economy plus and others sneak up into that class and the Stewardesses don't say anything 🤷😱😂
I would've complained to the management, and maybe even asked for a partial refund when I saw the lack of control over the "inclusive" alcoholic drinks!
The comparison for me between a resort vacation and cruise ship is really invalid. Two completely different things trying to fufil different objectives and requirements. Good video though
For me, I tend to just follow the rules, even if some people around me aren't. I wouldn't feel bad about paying for the inclusive experience and then seeing others sneaking a bit of that experience without having paid for it. Their conscience is their problem. The only person I can control is me, and my choice is to follow the rules. I've been disappointed with myself in the past when I haven't. For me, that's what matters-my self-respect.
Per RUclips, some birds 🐦 share information to their family and can remember (where the food is at) for generations. Good luck with the “Don’t Feed The Birds 🦅 “ project 😮😢
Please don’t feed the birds. Somehow people don’t realize that birds are perfectly capable of feeding themselves. I had a squirrel literally stalk me at the Disney Contemporary hotel in an attempt to get my nachos. I wish I was exaggerating. Never in my life have I feared a squirrel until that moment. I moved several tables over and he followed me and sat inches away from me on the neighboring chair in a pouncing position while he stared at my food. Don’t feed the wildlife!!

I wouldn't let it bother me either except you ARE paying more for the all inclusive portion simply because of the free loaders. Someone's gotta pay.
Love this attitude.
Yea I’m not sure who taught that mindset but if I’m paying and everyone else isn’t I’m getting refunded.
Thanks for the tour Morgan 👍 food looks delicious 😋
Thanks again for informative and fun video.
Looks like an unusual but nice place! Thanks for the tour! 😊

Yes, you're right! It is stealing, and even if everyone is doing it, it's still not "right" :-P
I’m not sure why anyone would want to go to wilderness, not an Island for

I checked out rates for the resort, and it seems like very good value for what it includes.
Yes, we paid about €750 pp for 8 days. That's a great deal!

Oh that's great if I can run there on the beach to Morro Jable🏖️ I thought it looked too rocky to run south on the beach to there. Many thanks 👍
There is one section that is rocky, but not unpassable. That was from my experience, though. Maybe we were there at low-tide.
Hi great video thanks going next year is it loud at night time
No, not at all!

I don't remember seeing any frozen drinks. Sorry.
