@ Nah Em was too trusting as she's been for 20 years. I think she kinda put two and two together when she asked Charlie's gf what they're doing next and she said whatever Charlie wants. As for charismatic people, it's always sad and weird to see shy and regular people get caught in a frenzy of a charlatan and you can't speak facts to them. You're the only sane one and everyone else thinks you're strange because you're not caught up in the trance.
