She is just so sweet and adorable, and such a great singer. I hope her dreams come true without robbing her of her innocence and the rest of her childhood.
For me, I have always judged talent by if I get the chills and tears of joy. Mara blew me away from the start. She not only has an amazingly powerful voice, but she also has a stage presence well beyond her years. Her personality also shows through and she's a little sweetheart. She won't win AGT because no one is going to see a 12 year-old performing in Vegas, but hopefully some sharp record exec signs her and let's her grow slowly, focusing on her education and managing her fame. A bit of money along the way certainly would help Linda with her five kids and maybe let her quit her current job to spend more time with her kids.

She hasn't had a comment from any of the judges that would question her song choice or whether she belongs in Radio City. They told Julia that she would be better suited for Broadway and they told the Willis Clan that they were better suited for Branson. What does the venue they are best suited for have any bearing? They aren't going to be playing Radio City anyway.
When she sings for power she can't reach her high range but when she quiets down she can go way up there. As she matures she'll easily be able to put the two together. Howard's right about one thing though, she's phenomenal... :)

Didn't slow her down one bit, though - Mara Justine's a very determined person, following her dream like Jackie Evancho and some others have been doing, and most of all, a real 'knock 'em dead' entertainer :) I hope that famous voice coach of hers will keep it going, 'cause I can see her headlining in Vegas some day!!! :) [I still prefer her without the glasses though - I think she's gonna be a knockout! :) ] PS - What chuzpah, to bear right down on the judges like that and sing right at 'em - WOW!

What was the point of Howard Stern making poor Mara think she was going to be cut? I'd like to buzz cut all his hair off so that he is nearly indistinguishable from Howie Mandel. On second thought, I'd like to hand him the mike and have him try to do the cover that Mara did so greatly.
These innocent kids do not realize that that " dream" they are expecting can turn into a nightmare if they win. The entertainment people swallow them up and turn them all into " good girls gone bad"! Look at Britney, Christina, etc.. ALL of them have had to sell their souls.. Because they wanted it that bad

The judges especially Howard Stern that got replaced with Simon screwed up Maras chances of a winning by having her sing a song thar was not comfortable with her range and vibe. She was forced to sing a Brittany Spears song instead of something she was capable of singing.
I have nerve damage in my right eye since age five. I heard all of the .. four eyes .Cannot wear contacts surgery would not correct it .I have done quite well and wear some really cool glasses So piss off
