Was an awesome experience as angler. Really cool to get to talk with John and get some of that knowledge. It for sure helped bring fish to the net!

Great vid.....Accotink creek is fun right now.....nice fish....BUT...highly disappointed in the number of fish being caugh and taken.
Wish there was enforcement!! Sad to see such nice fish being removed from others to enjoy.

Thank you! Yea both rivers have their fair share of poaching and people not following regulation. Best thing to do is call and report it to the wildlife crime hotline. The only power we really have is at least least letting them know and showing them we care. Maybe one day they’ll have funding to enforce regulations, it’s hard for them being spread thin and the rivers so far from where there are outposts.

You can remove them after May 31. As the DWR guy in the video states, they're not going to last through the summer, better to harvest than just let them go to waste.
