      Wow, congratulations on passing CFA level 1 and I mean it because it was hard to convince my parents about it because most of the people who clear it have some finance background like experience so I was kinda in search of someone who cleared it as a college student, btw I am also preparing for the same in third year of college. Also, can you tell what degree are you pursuing?

    The content provided is commendable. However, I would like to offer some constructive feedback. The audio quality of your videos could benefit from improvement in your forthcoming productions. During my recent experience, I had to increase the volume to the maximum level to comprehend the entire podcast. I hope this feedback is helpful in enhancing the quality of your content, with a view to improving the audience's experience.

      Thank you so much for the feedback Kunal! We really appreciate it. This was actually one of the first videos that we recorded, and unfortunately we didn't have a mic with us at that time and booked a non-insulated room due to our bad luck. We acknowledged the same in our first video which we recorded after this one with an entire setup for better audio. That being said, the coming videos will hopefully have better audio quality. Stay tuned!

    Sir,At Present I am working as Asst Manager in Govt PSU.I have done my graduation in Mining Domain..I have been working for 6years..
    Sir,I want to shift the domain to Finance,For that I am preparing for CFA Level-1 I shall give exam In November...Can You Please guide me whether pursuing Masters In Finance is better or Pursuing MBA Is better according to my profile..
    And What Opportunities can we get after doing MBA..

    • @MarketCurry
      @MarketCurry  3 месяца назад

      Hi, congrats on your decision to pursue higher education! We believe your decision should be based your interest and goals. MBA usually requires greater work experience (Which you have). However, MS gives you the option to specialize in the domain that you are pursuing as you dive deep into the subjects.
      Post MBA you can get endless opportunities: In strategy consulting, auditing, as a management trainee and many more depending on what you want to pursue long term. MBA does open more avenues from a management perspective.
      Hope this helps!

    I have a 2 years of work ex in data analytics. Currently, I am planning to do a Msc/MBA in finance from JBIMS depending on score in CET.
    I am thinking to do masters right now just to have a back up and to buy time to crack a govt exam.
    So, would MQF be helpful as a double masters and is there a max age or a suitable age, if any, to be aware of to pursue it?
    PS: i have an engg background!

    • @MarketCurry
      @MarketCurry  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi Rohan, congrats on your decision to pursue MS. Whether the double masters would be helpful or not depends completely on your end goal. MSF is a great segway into the Finance profession. However, you should look at the track record of the college you are applying to. Further, considering you are an engg grad, you should be vary of the fact that you will be required to learn the basics of Finance as you would be pursuing it on a higher level with an MS (Which should not be a problem).
      There is no min or max age to do a masters, but from a personal viewpoint I believe a person should invest a some time to get relevant work experience and then go for a masters.
      Good luck for your exams.

    • @MarketCurry
      @MarketCurry  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi! This is a very subjective question. It should be based on your interest of specialising in Finance or doing a management degree plus which college you are looking at, along with other factors. There are colleges where 3 years of work ex might be considered border line, and there are others where that might be enough. Base your decision on your target schools and interests!

      You can get scholarships from India for your master's program abroad.
      US universities do provide scholarships. Talking about MSQF, NEU, a lot of students got a scholarship last year and it was irrespective of whether they had cleared CFA level 1 or 2 or both. The program considered the overall profile of the candidates.
      Universities have different policies regarding scholarships.
