Great video! This video helped me decide that I am probably gonna buy the Cidoo V75 prebuilt and swap the switches to vv1s. I dont enjoy customs as I am newer to the hobby, but your videos are so entertaining! I subbed
The Cidoo v75 plus barebones kit is really nice in my opinion. I used milky gateron yellows that i lubed myself, it was the first keyboard i have made and was surprisingly easy. the entire build feels high quality and i can say it was worth it.
Hi. I watched your V75 Pro video and even though they are essentially the same keyboard I much prefer the sound on the V75 Plus. Is it just my ears or do they sound vastly different side by side? If so could you get the same sound on the V75 pro if i were to put mint switches instead of the matte and replace the key caps? Maybe it’s even the poly filler you put in?
Yeah I have the v75 pro and plus in vastly different configurations. I think you could get something pretty similar with the pro if you use the same config I used in the plus
That’s great to know. Maybe I can pull out the foam and put in poly filler and that will get me close. Do you think the matte vs mint switches make much of difference and same with the keycaps? Would be great if you make a mod video on the Pro I think alot of people would be interested 😊
Yeah the matte switches are pretty thin and plasticky sounding whereas the mint switches sound louder and fuller. Honestly I don't think I have enough time to make another video modding the v75. Also I gave it to a friend lol
I wish they would throw in different color options and even different badge for the usb. Im also confused about the rgb from the prebuilt and no rgb for the barebones. Still its a decent budget board
The Cidoo v75 has a TFT panel, but I am not sure with the Zoom. As of now I can't find any information about it. All I know is that the Zoom 75 2u Screen module is LCD. My main concern is regarding their viewing angles. Now I'm further confused with the difference between LCD and TFT 🤣 Thanks btw, this video compelled to buy the Cidoo v75 plus!
@@SimulatorTech I don't mind no, the materials are pretty different, with the Zoom75 its actually CNC'd where as the Cidoo75 is cast alu, the mounting system is not as sophisticated as the one on the zoom75, the screen placement is much better, like it looks like it belongs there (imo). So I mean, I guess it's a decent option but it's not anywhere near killing the Zoom75
Ah I see, that's fair. I think the zoom75 is definitely a much more refined product. I'm surprised the v75 plus is cast alu, it felt nice even compared to other cnc aluminum board I have! I guess cast aluminum has come a long way since the days of the bakeneko60

brilliant review
Thanks!
Do you recommend polyfill plus, pcbfoam, tapemod or just polyfill plus the pcb foam
I don't know about the tape mode since I didn't try it but you should def try it since you can always remove it

@@SimulatorTech thanks so much for all the info!!
Of course, feel free to ask any time!

If you want different color go for finalkey v81 its practically the same thing haha
so what's the difference between the two? the look identical just with different badge cover
@@MuildGaster
@@dcgl1tch439 yep, that looks like it. so basically, finalkey offers more color and badge options
bro just saved me from buying this board. had no idea the barebones had no rgb
Are both Zoom75 and Cidoo 75 plus' screen tft?
I'm not sure, maybe try checking their websites because I don't have any information aside from what's on their website

what's better for the sound? this or M1W?
I prefer this board for sound
What's better this or the Epomaker EK75
They're really similar, but I think it mostly comes down to whether or not you want a screen since the ek75 is cheaper but the v75 plus has a screen
is it sound the same to V75 pro (knob). I want the prebuilt ver but i hear more thocky at V75+ rather tham V75 pro (knob). What should i do?
I think it sounds a bit better than the pro. I'm not sure why, but you can probably get a similar sound on the pro
@@SimulatorTech and 1 more thing btw, i heard that the V75Plus ver has PCB flex cut and the V75 Pro isnt. Is it true?
Ooh that sounds correct but I'm not 100% sure
personal opinion even though its technically the same the finalkey v81 is better, again personal opinion if you want the same thing.
Love all the reasons you listed lol…
Seriously though, why?
@jammies701 it's basically the same but less branding and more colors
does not seem to be able to get nordic keyboard. so another thing useless unless native english.
looks like some knockoff
aint a Zoom75 Killer and will likely never be
Would you mind elaborating?

@@SimulatorTech to be fair, I think that the way they do it is much better than a few years ago which could make it look like it's cnc'd haha
yes, it is a zoom killer for sure. absolutely. you are delusional and must stop this nonsense now. apologize.
