gula melaka syrup
350g gula melaka
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp white sugar
2 daun pandans
thick coconut milk
3 cups grated coconut
3 cups water
1/4 tsp salt
squeeze and strain to get the thick coconut milk
cendol
1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup either tapioca flour OR corn flour OR glutinous rice flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp air kapur mix with 1 tsp water
1 cup pandan juice ( extracted from 12 pandan leaves blend with 1 cup water and strain)
2 cups water

No sis its not biji selaseh. looks like young palm n written Attapchi on the can. In Singapore they put in chinese chendol with the red beans n soft jelly. Bestlah sis. Your vlog is gd alot of our Asian recipes.

Hi Usha. Maybe you can skip air kapur. For pandan leaves maybe can try to use pandan essence and green colour or pandan paste.

@@carolinepathy3056 air kapur is to make it more smooth and also so that the cendol wont break easily. Actually the lesser we use the better or else our food will smell like earth or sand 😁😁😁. Or can only use the clear water on top after soaking the kapur.
