For me, a Christian, the scenery and music selection is a celebration of the birth of Our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus! It creates a positive, comfortable, relaxed, enjoyable and warm feeling that reminds me to be thankful for everything that I do have and will have through the Favor and Grace of God. I've sat in this coffee shop many times as I've contemplated robbing the bank across the street. I can't read the menu hung so high so I only order a hot cocoa. I'm intimidated by the barista Moira, she's so warm and sweet and I have no confidence, like zero. That's why I haven't robbed the bank, my no confidence affects my whole life. I take care of my mom who is 88 years old, she's in pain which makes her mean to me. But I think of Moira and it all balances out. Bless you.
