Hubby and i went to Blizzard Beach today for the very first time and had a great time. We got there at rope drop and left about 4. Crowds were low and spaced out it was amazing. Felt like normal times being able to walk around and do things without a mask still felt a little weird not wearing it in some spots.

Thank you both so much for giving us hope that one day we shall return to Disney one day. I have been shielding with our son for most of the past year as we are both extremely clinically vulnerable. You are such a bright light in our lives and give us such joy and happiness 💖 We just would like to say on the Disney mask wearing policy in restaurants unless activily eating, this seems a little strict especially when people are paying a lot of money to eat there and a more relaxed policy may be beneficial. In England we have had three national lockdowns in the past year. In the periods whilst not in lockdown when visiting a restaurant we are allowed to remove our masks whilst seated at the table and we are only required to wear our masks while activily moving around the restaurant and restrooms. Disney may get a more positive response if they had a similar policy. Look after yourselves and take care. With lots of love to you both 💖🧡💛
Glad the water park is open again so many cast members get to go back to job and I know they’re happy to be back. Almost getting back to normal can’t wait.

I wish you would elaborate on the “always something going on” at Volcano Bay. Beyond the slack in mask wearing and social distancing in comparison to Disney, we’ve always had an awesome time at VB.
The best way to describe is universal just needs better guest service all around and all of the team members are never on the same page when it comes to rules and policies.

I’ve not been to blizzard beach as an adult, on our last trip only typhoon lagoon was open and the kids loved it :) I got my first dose of the vaccine last week, hope you can get yours soon
I love my Crocs! I use them for river tubing in Jersey/Pennsylvania. I wanted to go there but I flew home on the 6th & they opened the next day on Sunday. I'm gunna have to wait 6 more months to go.
Why about team boat springs(the family raft ride at the top of the mountain) is it open? You mentioned the accessible gondolas and the wheelchair rental in the gift shop. I read ( precovid) that they had special waterproof wheelchairs that you use for free? ( they can go in the sand, wave pool etcand they send it down in a raft at team oat before you so it’s there when you get down). So where do you keep your rented wheelchair ( from scooter big) for the day while you’re using the special one made for water parks?
The first everyone I went Disney (in 2015) me and my family went to obvi all the Disney parks but we want to all the Disney water parks! And blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon where sooo fun I miss Florida in general

Great video! Glad u plan on getting ur vaccine. I’m a Florida pharmacist and I know u aren’t eligible yet, but please call ur local pharmacies and place yourself on their Waste Protocol list. We have been experiencing many cancellations which has allowed us to call in plenty of people off that list. Our Waste Protocol list can include anyone over 18yo (no eligibility requirements).

Friends of mine in Orlando said to check with Publix at the end of the day. Apparently they will use up leveftover on the general public if you ask them at the end of the day (him and his partner got them early that way this week).
Just got back being there a week and we’re not asked to keep our masks on while seated at tables indoors. We were at two different Disney restaurants per day.Thanks for sharing the magic!

our Blizzard Beach tip - you can walk to the top faster than the chair lift, but it's worth taking the chair just for the fun of it!

If you are trying to get in as many slides as possible at park opening, skip the chair until later in the day if you want to ride it.

I don’t know of any women’s swimsuits that has a pocket for a zip lock bag and mask 🤷♀️
I was thinking the same, I guess my husband would be given everyone’s zip lock bags to carry in his pockets 🤣
I've seen people with the waterproof bags that have a lanyard string so you can wear it around your neck - but pockets do seem more efficient 😭
You could just buy a waterproof bag that goes around your neck. You can put your phone, money, etc in it.
I would 100% buy a bathing suit with pockets, but they do make waterproof fanny packs, I sling that across my chest. But pockets would be better.
Super dry should have some swim shorts, I brought a pair from there that had pockets 🙂

I had the best time at Blizzard Beach a few years ago with my best friends Luqmaan and Jeremy!

The water parks are great _because_ of the relaxed face convering rules. I'm not worried about the situation so I enjoy the practical normalcy.
