I have been teaching law enforcement and Military units for the past 36 years, first off i want to say I am not a troll, I am not a armchair Instructor and I am not here to criticize peoples efforts. I respect highly this gentleman's efforts and training curriculum and applaud his reason for doing what he does and skills. I have just a couple positive critiques or suggestions if you will to simply offer food for thought. At 1:05 if the instructor were to move his left leg a bit closer to the opponent's Right hip he would find it much easier to execute the arm twisting lock thus turning the opponent over more expediently, so the teacher didn't have to bend down so much causing a potential of being imbalanced. Secondly bringing the opponents tricep of his right arm more with the teacher upper shin almost knee will lock the arm more quickly with greater control.

Also at 1:28 this technique should be avoided with law enforcement because the assailant has direct contact with the officers firearm and th officer has both hands completely committed. A hidden knife can be easily deployed against the officer and it would not be seen until it was too late as well.Lastly my only other real concern is executing an armbar against a joint with that level of force and intensity especially low on the shin like that could cost the officer being demonstrated on career ending injury, purely by accident. Now I am sure this instructor is very good and well trained but having trained 10s of thousands of police officers worldwide I can say with certainty that the officer even being slightly injured could cost him his life if he is on duty the next few days with even a slightly injured arm, because it could hinder drawing his weapon smoothly as any type of distraction in a critical incident stress situation can not be allowed to have any distractions no matter how mild they may be. Thats why training Police or Military should be very carefully executed on the officers. After all they are learning to do it to a bad guy not practice receiving it. Yes it is important in Jujutsu styled arts etc that they feel these locks, but not at the point of injury potential. JMHO
