I have the same clock. We have had it for 7 years, I did a coil recording of this clock 10 months ago, which picked up the audio from the clock directly from the speaker. This is a little bit better than my recording. Amazing.
@@CBF1 I know the method but I never tried it because I do not want to risk damaging my clocks. You basically take them apart, connect wires to the speaker, and take the wires to your phone and set it up as an external mic. Then you record on your phone with the external microphone and make the clock play the songs.
May i know what method you use...how do you transfer the recorded file? Did you use special circuit board? I've one music clock not Seiko brand..but the music no t working anymore...i might sure it's the music board is malfunction...

I know how kosei 515 did this, and I can also do it but I never did because I don't want to risk damaging my clocks. You basically have to take the clock apart, then connect wires to the speaker, and wire it to your phone, and record on your phone as an external microphone.

kosei_515 somehow got the original audio files. Possibly ripped them from the clock itself I assume. Sound rips are possible from what I've heard.

I recorded mine with a pickup coil 10 months ago, and I just found this today, did you record it by modding the clock or something?
