This contest was featured on 411vm #15 (March April 1996). I still got the vhs. So raw,so authentic:no corporates involved,no random crowd, just a few real skaters .
A sport on the rise; right before mass corporations, public eye and video game abduction. Skaters pro/am/no sponsor alike all proudly wore core skate brand clothing and shoes. We cared about the health of the industry by supporting skate brands rather than looking anywhere else for support and validation.

The skate industry was at a low point back then, but the skating was raw as hell.

The Gooood old days. My friends and I were lucky enough to drive down from Valdosta GA and make it to Tampa '97, '98,'99. Amazing times.
