The first half of the ruclips.net/user/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
Everytime I am very impressed by your ideas. Without strange components and tools nobody has. Simple, good, effctive! Keep it up! Tip: The point where the acorn-nut (domed-nut, hat-nut) pushes against the surface of the wood, i recommented to install a piece of metal, otherwise soner or later the wood will deformed at this point. and you measurement could be inaccurate...
I can not do tenons on the table saw. Not for lack of trying but because any error is doubled by the process itself. So I bought an X- Y table like what Grizzlysells and a plunge router ( triton's big dog) and rigged up some extra heavy angle iron into a pair of mounts off a heavy plywood box and I can do slot mortises and do 'em with repeatable size and location accuracy within 0.005" every time . The loose tenons I make in my planer to fit. That way I get the fitment I prefer. But no jug I made would give me what I wanted on the table saw.
Very ingenius design indeed. The block in the middle doesn't make sense though. You aren't going to make every tenon the same width which means you'd have to have a different size block in there for each. So much easier to just undo the clamp, flip the piece around and do the other one. Otherwise, i like it.
Absolutely brilliant, but I am wondering whether the outer plate (the one with the hole in it) will remain exactly parallel to the fence when cranked open, because there are two independent points of movement.
I love the mechanics of this jig, very clever. But honestly, to finish the tenon it would take less time to put it into a vise and just cut off the cheeks with a Japanese saw.

Yes, it's damaged already, so thanks for this tip, will do that. And thanks for watching! 👍
Very clever, you could make the backstop adjustable for cutting angles like mitred splines! Love your work.
Yes, i thought about this too but when project was finished. Possible will rebuild this part. Thanks!
🙏🤝🇮🇩

Really fantastic work, dude! 😃
Looks and works great!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you, my friend!
Very nice, only thing I’d add is a height guide for the blade right to the face...
Josss... Pokoke...
Um trabalho sensacional, maravilha
Brilliant

Magnífico 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Avez-vous les plans, svp.
Très belle réalisation
Que gran invento para minizar el riesgo 😹.
well.. we find a genious!
Ganhou minha inscrição
VERY impressive - but if you really want to blow my mind, make the corresponding mortises on the table saw too! ;)
Bagus bro
Great!
what is the white material attached to both sides of your table saw fence?
I don't know, it's some kind of plastic
❤
I love the mechanics of this jig, very clever. But honestly, to finish the tenon it would take less time to put it into a vise and just cut off the cheeks with a Japanese saw.
Yes, if you make one tenon, but if you have to make more, just set up once and cut as much as you need
👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍
clever design, but why not just move the fence?
This jig is more precision and faster than move the fence every time if you need to make more than one tenon
Matthias Wendell made a Tenon jig for the table saw and even put out plans
Matthias' version is cool but over-engineered. This version is easy to make, easy to use.
👍🙋🏼♂️
Good video feee plans ofrece these project please
Will upload a little later, now working with it
You're like a woodworking evil genius.
Классно
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍
👏👏👍👌👌👌
👍
Nolike 58.
It isn't that hard to make joints. So to me this jig is unnessessary overkill. But hey, if you need it...
I don't quite feel the purpose of this tool.
I don't see the point. Set the fence make the cut turn board around and make cut. This is just for content and nobody would use this.
Me 2 doing that with a simple block for then 10 years all size one block and perfect every time cut flip and cut 🤔😎
Too many ads for me
1k IQ
to the people making these video's are you all mute ?
