Thanks a lot brother, your video has helped me a lot, I was bored of using all the drum kits provided with the pack. After your video I am able to fully customize my own drum kits. Thanks once again.

Hey ,whenever I put any of the sounds under drums in the browser section the midi clip automatically turns into an audio clip how can I fix this? I can make snares or hi hats due to this problem i can't draw them into the piano roll bcz of the change
Hey noise wolf I just got Ableton live trial to mess around with and I'm having fun with it just haven't been able to figure out how to use any of my download able sounds as a midi track . they are only usable as audio do you know why?
Hey Jonah. Sure, this is fairly easy to do. Firstly you have to understand that there are 2 main types of tracks in any DAW. Midi track and audio track. Let’s start with audio track... As the name suggests, we can drag anything in audio (wav, mp3 etc etc) on to this type of track. This could be sample loops or even one shot samples. Audio tracks are also used to record in vocals, guitars etc etc as the signal recorded will obviously be audio. Midi tracks are used along side plugins in ableton. You can create a midi track and then drag on a VST plugin from the browser under instruments. Say we chose Ableton’s Analog...we can then use this to create our melodies etc. Now some plugins allow us to use Audio loops and one shots inside of the plugins themselves. Resulting in triggering our sound via midi. For example, you can load a drum rack and drag and drop audio one shots on to the pads and then play or pencil a pattern in. We can also drag and drop say an audio loop into a simpler to slice and manipulate the audio. And again....record it in via a midi track. Hope this answered your question! Thanks for watching! Manny
Base Ableton 11 Live doesn't come with any packs and as far as I can tell all of the drum kits come complete with whatever they were designed with. Where do we get these individual drums/instruments from within a basic installation of LIVE? Yep! I'm literally that new to this lol sorry!
Hey Robert. Thanks for the question. Most of my drum sounds come from splice where you can pay a subscription fee to download samples. You can also sound design them or if you do purchase a different version of ableton in the future, it will come with packs that you can use!

Yes sir! Decap done a great job on these drums!
How do you get your MIDI clip to go full screen like that?
Hey Billy. If you click on a midi clip and it only comes up to half of your screen, all you have to do is drag that window up to the top.
@@NXISEWOLF For me the piano roll only shows up in a tiny corner on the bottom right of the window
I need help T_T I downloaded the mt power drumkit 2 but idk how to record it in Ableton.

Drag and drop the midi into a midi track and load a drum rack or simpler/sampler
