This song is a double-edged sword for me. It's beautiful, but for me, it's heartbreak. My wife blasted this song on our stereo one day, and I know it was meant for me to hear. Unfortunately, the wounds were too deep, and we divorced the next year. I loved her, but I was also trans and couldn't keep it hidden anymore. It was either continuing the facade or breakup. She couldn't see how suicidal I was or just didn't love me enough to let me be me.
@DiamondStarMm2 mostly, but she poisoned the kids against me. Haven't heard from them in 8 years, so that hurt. But they're all grown, and all I can do is hope they can be happy
