What's funny is those "scrubs" are insanely high ranked players, three of his opponents were top 500 and they were utterly destroyed by Seagull and company. But they obviously weren't taking it that serious (Winston vs Zarya fist fight)
Although Russian weight lifters may be able to fight bears, they still lose to genetically enhanced gorillas.

2:13 Genji actually slashes Seagull for 120x1.5=180. If you slow it down frame by frame you can see him go from 181hp to 1hp, then his rclick lands and kills him.
The most damage Zarya's right click can do to herself is 43.88 - Math below. Hit read more.
Rclick has a base of 45 damage. 1 point of Energy adds 1% extra damage.
Self-damage is 25% of the damage done, per instance of damage.
I'll list these in order of damage from least to most damaging to Zarya
0e Rclick = 45/4 = 11.25
50e Rclick = (45*1.5)/4 = 16.88
100e Rclick and Ana nano 50% boost 50% mitigation = ((90*1.5)/4)/2 = 16.88
100e Rclick = 90/4 = 22.5
100e Rclick and Mercy 30% boost = (90x1.3)/4 = 29.25
100e Rclick and enemy Zenyatta 50% discord = (90/4)1.5 = 33.75
100e Rclick and Mercy+Zenyatta together = ((90x1.3)/4)1.5 = 43.88
I could do all the Ana combinations but I can't be bothered because they don't seem relevant, any time you add her Nano boost it just reduces the overall damage done to Zarya and weakens the self-damage potential.
(I'm too lazy to do math) but Ana's Nano Boost gives 66.6% dmg boost while 50% damage taken reduction.
So it is possible to do more than 43.88.
I believe graog123 is trying to convey exactly the opposite by showing that the maximal damage a Zarya can deal to herself is 43.88?

no, to even compensate for the 50% damage reduction, it would have to increase damage output by 100%.

Seagull, earlier today I was in a competitive match on Temple of Anubis, and here's what went down...
[Starting on Defense]
We get steamrolled
[On offense]
We steamroll them
[On defense again]
We defend for 7 minutes and 30 seconds and win the match. It was intense.
9:06 ...that's a pure magic moment. Enemy reaper uses death blossom, lucio about to die, seagull sheilds lucio, lucio uses sound barrier and then shadder uses death blossom..from almost losing to winning the fight in 2 seconds. Amazing moment of reflexes.
shadder, the lucio and seagull understood that right afterwards looking at the in game text. That's probably the best part of a multi player game experience. And this game does that in spades

Oh? Aug 8th? I assumed this was a pretty old stream cuz at the end of the video, seagull says "McCree will 2-shot anyone across the map, all ranges". Perhaps pre-nerf McCree would, but not the current one.

You should check out his twitch VODS. I don't get up early enough to catch the stream and I just play the 3-5 hour videos in the background of me playing OW. It helps a lot.

It is minorly disappointing the console version of Overwatch doesn't have the individual commands as the PC does. It is more hard to tell if you want to combo with another person, just as Shadder communicates with Seagull here.

From watching your videos I decided I wanted to play Genji(Lol cliché i know). But after watching you play Zarya I also wanted to give her a shot. Now I have 17 hours clocked on Zarya in competitive and a 65% winrate with her. I love playing her and my friends love it when I play her cause they know they are safe.
just wanted to make sure you knew but when you get hooked by a roadhog as genji spam dash and you will dash through the roadhog usually. it works faster than the deflect and alot of the time the dash will go off faster than they shoot for the execution

they vary in damage! at full energy you do double the base damage.

Seagull, try getting in the rhythm of using left clicks in the middle of right click. Also right clicks when low on ammo when going for full left click.. Just Zarya things.
how does comp ranking work? i thought most players start around the 60 range, thats what i started after placement matches and im now learning because i was over65 i get a gold wep now? wtf ive played less than 20 games

Anyone have any tips for Zarya? I've been wanting to learn her recently, and I know the basic stuff(shielding yourself can only give 50 energy max, same with shielding a teammate, alt fire is projectile while primary fire is beam, and her ult works well with other ults), but what else should I keep in mind while playing as her?
You can't straight tank for very long but having 200 shields makes you really sustainable in short skirmishes. Basically rack up a ton of shields with some decent prediction/reaction and save your ally shield if you need to save someone important
timing is the main thing with her
you can only really learn it with experience, that being said, watching guides can be a good way to learn her, I recomand unit lost's (even though it's fairly old) and lone hawks ultimate guide, so that being said, jump into free play and try her out
I mostly play Zarya and i was wondering when is a good time to ult?
That's a really complicated issue. It is just experience, you'll eventually get better at it. There are just so many variables playing into it, for example if their tanks are up, which tanks they have, if their supports have ult, how much health their team has, how much health your team has, how much health you have, how mobile their heroes are, how much energy you have, if your barriers are on cooldown etc. There is no simple answer. The best way to learn would probably to submit your gameplay to a RUclipsr or streamer and have them review it and explain your mistakes in the context of the match. Good luck!
