Viva Cristo Rey ! I was moved to tears by this account. As a new Catholic I had never heard any of this history about Mother Church in Mexico being so brutalized. Ave Maria Deus Vult
No other institution has persecuted, tortured and killed innocents and true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ than that of the Catholic Church. The Lord is coming soon and to all that truly loves Him and seek His truth, He will keep them safe in His barn, but to all that are blind and have the blood of the innocent in their hands , they will find only the Lord’s wrath. Read the Bible and ask Him , our only Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that He might take away the scales off your eyes so you can see His beauty and understand His words.
Thank you so much. Beautiful. Exactly as you say, the Cristeros' story has been much in my mind. That is why I said the Rosary, the other prayers, then did a search here, & that is how I found you. Ave purissima! (I will share. That is what my Catholic militance calls me to.) ✝️📿💙
Father Pro is a saint for our times but also let us not forget an astounding young man, San José Sanchez del Rio, martyred at a young age never letting himself into the temptation of denying Christ even when violently tortured. This saints never fell into the sins of the world and always, no matter what, did God’s will. Saints Father Pro and Jose Sanchez del Rio, pray for us.
Very good presentation, Patrick - just one small correction, perhaps better to say, addition. Hidalgo was the pastor of the Parish of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrows). It was on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows that the Cura Hidalgo shouted the “Cry of Independence”. Hence, Mexican Independence Day is September 15, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. fr.chas.murr
I know he mentioned the enlightenment and that sect that espouses it’s values but a large country like Mexico going full anti catholic??? I guess being next to the united states doesn’t help
Mexico is now a VERY CATHOLIC country. Mexico is one of the most Catholic countries in the world, but there is also a large part of the atheist Mexican population, we are more Catholics.
Like said in this video, Mexico's government to this day is in the firm grip of freemasons. Protestants have been heavily sending "missionaries" into Mexico and Latin America for decades to chip away at the Catholic church. And with the rise of atheism in the world and the internet it was only a matter of time before Mexico's youth, whose faith was already weakened by the rise of protestantism, would embrace atheism under the false notion that you don't need religion to be a morally good person.
I am Mexican, Living in Aguascalientes, tierra Cristera. I am a convinced Catholic. In México there are faith, if you visit small towns there are alot of humble and devote people. I do not know why you said México is atheism. It is true atheism and protestantism is growing but México remain catholic. sorry for my Bad English . Viva Cristo Rey , Viva Santa María de Guadalupe. !!
Wonderful resplendent greatly informative presentation Mr Madrid May God bless protect and fill you with an abundance of Truth Graces Virtue’s and fearlessness to proclaim the truth of the One Holy Apostolic Catholic Christian Church of Traditional Teachings and Worship AMEN DEO GRATIS ALLELUIA HOSANNA IN EXCELSIS DEO GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO 🐑🕊️✨🔥
important talk about the anti-Catholic Cristeros war in mexico which murdered approx. 50,000 Catholics. an example of state vs church warfare in the 20th century.
Well i am so happy to hear that Ireland back then stood up to the Evil. Sadly that is not the case today. Satan has his hooves firmly on our Soil and it is coming close to the time for those of us who are still in Christ will cry out, Viva Christo Rey. God have mercy on our Souls
Same thing happened in Spain during the civil war Communists persecuted the Church and committed war crimes killing priests So many places these kinds wish to challenge our lord and champion
Hi there, I have just watched the video “Viva Cristo Rey...” and find it very interesting, and informative. But I found, as well, that you are translating the frase “el grito de Dolores” as the cry of pains, which would be accurate if the word “Dolores” wouldn’t be used as proper name. Now, you as Hispanic may be aware that “Dolores” is (apart from the meaning of pains) also applied as personal name for both sexes. Nevertheless, Dolores, in this case, (returning to el grito de Dolores) is the name of the town where Miguel Hidalgo was established, so that Dolores refers to the town where the “cry” took place. Actually that town is renamed Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato: in honor to “Padre de la Independencia” de Mexico. See Wikipedia.org and search for Cry of Dolores Or www.tourbymexico.com/guana/dolores/dolores.htm Sincerely Emilio Cid
I enjoyed this presentation. I am disgusted at the betrayal of the Christeros by the Vatican. It is one thing to issues written denunciations of the Calles government, as was done by the Vatican, but to engage in a negotiation with a MASONIC government and not include Christeros nor provide for their safety is scandalous behavior. The bishop that informed the Christeros flatly told the leader that he did not know how he will fare as a result of the treaty and that it did not matter to him. I will never trust the hierarchy based on this betrayal and the more recent one in which they have closed down all public worship worldwide due to a phony pandemic. The hierarchy of the Church cannot be trusted.
im from a small town of los altos de jalisco where all of this happend one of the cristero priests was in my town and left to join los cridtero his name was jose reyes vega you can read about him
Viva Cristo Rey y la Virgen de Guadalupe! Viva Jalisco!, the only state in Mexico that became a "catholic state" and claimed independence from the rest of Mexico during "La Cristiada" too bad it didn't last for long. Viva my grandpa, who fought against the Mexican government.
This video presentation reminds me of what Protestantism is trying so so hard to destroy the One Holy Apostolic Catholic Christian Church of Traditional Teachings and Worship in a so called Christian way?🤔
Mr Madrid with all due respect you don’t have the right facts about Mexican history. Pancho villa and all others are not glorify and el grito de dolores Dolores was the name of the town where the revolution started. You sound like a Protestant talking about the Catholic faith.
Mr Madrid Zapata was not a criminal nor a bandit. He never kept land for himself nor did he have a hacienda like Pancha Villa. Zapata was simply fighting for the land that was taken away from poor campesinos. The same as Zapata’s family land. He died a General but poor. As far as Pancho Villa he stole and killed some innocent people as well as people involved in the corrupt side of the Mexican army.
Pancho Villa I see it Emilio Zapata is different, the indigenous people have always been taken advantage off even after being CONVERTED. Most of these people are folk catholics and some have morals and standards. Big families, support one another
I’m a Soto and I know of these past traditional values.. Unfortunately, my latent day family adopted liberals ideologies due to that French enlightenment movement
Your Mexican not Spanish and to say Villa and Zapata were never or good people is not true also it’s all true on some things but my great grandparents had a diferent version RIP
I don't know about Zapata but my grandparents in Chihuahua, on both sides, used to tell the episodes they witnessed on Pancho Villa as a brutal killer. It was well known Villa was no more than a thief.
Def Def My great aunt met Villa personally and let him and a few of his men sleep in her house. Villa seemed compassionate and gave her utmost respect for her kindness. However on my Mothers side is a different story, they for some reason fought against him. They also were sided with the Calles group during the Cristero.
Blown away by this! Thankyou for posting. All you Holy Mexican martyrs pray for us!
Amen!
Viva Cristo Rey !

Thank you, this was beyond enlightening.
There is a very good movie made about this, it's called For The Greater Glory. With Peter O'Toole, Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria. (Not Boring)
Thank you for this presentation.
I'm proud to be a roman catholik from the pillipines God bleese.
I just don’t understand how Mexico went from high Catholicism to staunch atheism within a space of a few Years
I know he mentioned the enlightenment and that sect that espouses it’s values but a large country like Mexico going full anti catholic??? I guess being next to the united states doesn’t help

Zapata was a pretty rich person
There are many people who refuse to move ahead. Much superstition and much prejudice.
What do you mean?
Pancho Villa I see it

Opinions not "facts".
You mean the History of Christendom! Europe is the Faith, and the Faith is Europe as Belloc said.
