Yes, please do a tutorial how you did the lighting in the detolfs! That would be very interesting, cuz I didn't quite like how everybody has these like neaon strips on them. I think that looks not very nice, but your lightning looks elegant. I'm planning to buy my first detolf soon, so this would help a lot!

Dang this is an insane collection, love how clean everything looks. Can definitely tell a lot of thought went into how its all organized and displayed. Been collecting for several years yet I hope my room will look as good as yours one day 🤣

I applaud your soldering skills. Mine are trash so I went with the Luke Light kits. I'm also considering more Detolfs but dang, they're up to 109.99! I'm envious of y'all who got them at $60.

I've been collecting for over 45 years, and recently been watching videos of collectors like yourself. It's not just the quality and quantity you all been impressing me, but it also hit me at one point, what if we'd lived in a world where there were no manga, no anime? What kind of world would it be if those characters, stories, and art never existed? And all we got were like Star Wars, LOTR, Star Trek, and superheroes? You know, just the same old same old Western stuff. How much greyer our world, our childhood would have been?

You’ve a wonderful collection, the best thing about looking at peoples collections is how different they all are, when I look at a lot of statue collections they’re nearly all DC or Marvel. I mostly collect Berserk, Evangelion, Fate, Demon Slayer, To Love-Ru and a few others.

Yay I was waiting for this! All the art prints look so gorgeous 😍 are you able to share links to where you got the frames and anime art prints from (the ones in the very beginning/first room of the video)?
Also your wife's cosplay crafting skills are amazing, wow! 😲 You guys should get a three tiered riser for the bottom shelf of the detolf for the nendoroids, it helps create more space as you want to add more and you can see them better. I probably have at least 100+ nendoroids now 😅 and I love them, they look so good on the risers and I can usually line up five per row. 😊

Thanks. The light rack come with a diffuser attached. There are different ways to diffuse the light.

love the artwork! I've been meaning to get posters hung up in my figure/gaming room soon. I really like the artwork styles in your work room. Do you have any recommended artists that sell online and what sort of frames do you use typically?
I don't think I have one specific. Our prints came from quite a few artist. Prints in my office are Kehasuk which you can find online pretty easily. Frames are from IKEA or Michael's. Nothing fancy
@@AnimeWill cool thank you for letting me know the name of that artist, do you know of any websites that showcases other artists as well? Been searching google for a while but unfortunately I keep getting official brand prints but my preferences are to these independent artists since their styles are much more interesting.
@@PLA8thRt I don't think there's one website you can go to. Usually these artist have their own website well they sell their prints. Best bet is probably search tags on Twitter and instagram for anime art.
30:39 Ahhh you have that Bellfine Akeno, I want that, I just got the new Kadokawa Rias and I’m trying to get others to go with her. I got the Bellfine Koneko, but both Asia and Akeno are sold out. All they have preowned on AmiAmi are 1/4 bunnies.

3 detolfs on top of 2 Kallax 2 cube units is a pretty sturdy combo, I've heard people using a four cube Kallax, But I'm paranoid about it collapsing

all your üpsters look awesome, where do you buy them? from different artist shops?
Most of them I bought in person at conventions. A few I bought online from artist I've met.
Are you familiar with Saint Seiya? My favorite anime. We may have talked about it before. Anyway, I just saw from IGN today that they are coming out with a live-action movie of it, to be released in the States this May and in Japan in April. Sean Bean and Famke Janssen are in it. I have one or two Saint Seiya figures. My cousins in Thailand have like all of them. They are really cool because the armor not only fits on the figures, but the armor fits together when not on the figures to form different Zodiac signs, etc. Maybe not your style, but still you should check it out.

Not sure if Im going to do a video due to what's involved with recording it. Setting up new detolfs this weekend so I may do it. But I found an easier solution I may do a video on soon.

Here's a different wire. When wiring up our new cases we found out that the original wire, 22 gauge, is too thin for more than 2-3 detolfs. We ordered this wire instead which should be fine but haven't test yet. Going to do it this coming weekend

Since you mentioned fromsoft games, do you have any interest in hunting down figures from the various games? Some of my biggest regrets are not picking up the gecco figures back in the day. Prices are pretty crazy now

Dust them? That I do...every couple of months. They don't get too dusty.
@@AnimeWill Even the ones that are out sitting on the shelves? I have to dust mine every week, some I do daily, even the smallest amount of dust will annoy me. But I have a lot of dust going around with these 3 bloody cats, I’ll never again get another cat, they’re just endless trouble.

how do you deal with your figures and room being full of dust l have big figure that is super dusty l try to clean it but only can remove some but the dust can get stuck in middle the figures in the video is many of your figure full of dust when you look closer just want to know if other people hace the some problem
I don't have an issue with dust sticking, so I'm not sure how to help with that.

Done of my detours ended up slightly taller and crooked looking compared to the other :( is there a solution to it?
Probably just have to take it apart and try putting it back together. You may not have pushed the glass all the way down into the grooves of the base.
