It's nice that you focus on educating beekeepers that don't have much experience and you cover many different aspects of beekeeping. Keep up the good work and keep those videos coming. "Thank You"
Hi David, I ordered a couple of days ago honey extractor, and it happened it is exactly as in your video 😉 I am so happy to get your lesson using this extractor, thank you very much 😇 Special thank you for your bee-diary I purchased from your website sometime ago, as it helps me with my hive inspections 👑😇
In the first frame, you didn't flip the comb outward in the extractor. You merely flipped the frame clockwise and the same side faced outward. I'm sure you corrected off camera. 😊
I believe that honey would have a better chance of being DARK if you limit the amount of sugar water you feed the bees, or eliminate sugar water all together.
Pro Tip: Don't think you can "cut corners" and get the job done by using only "the scratcher" which he used after using the knife. You have to use the knife as shown in the video. I tried just using the scratcher and it took so much more time than using the knife first.
I have 1 hive of bee i really like beekeeping but the problem is I'm in town and i wanna have another one should i buy it or wait till the other one become over popular then split it?

It fools me I saw clear light color on those on the frames that’s why I tough it was a dark honey…
Looking forward to live chat tonight 😊

I have found older honey has darker capping, especially if it’s the lower super that sees more foot traffic, first super becomes a door mat

I bet Sheri loves cooking with all that beautiful honey
🙏
That’s crazy I would have thought it would have been dark.

Great video. David could you recommend a small two-frame extractor under $150? I would be grateful.

Whatever you were selling for honey for normally, I'll double it.
