I wonder how hard it is to sell the high dollar pops. It's easy to sell low-cost ones. I have no clue on the higher-priced ones.
Extremely difficult. It's about as hard as selling a cheap common. May even be harder. It's because how often do you find someone willing to shell out $1k for just a specific character? It narrows your potential buyers significantly. They would have to be big enough fans of Harley Quinn, big enough Funko collectors, AND be able to afford spending a thousand dollars on it.
It starts getting difficult to sell expensive pops once they start to become worth $350+, ESPECIALLY if they aren't of characters that are very well known
Honestly, that's probably why they did these big boxes. Not very many people have the money to buy those expensive pops, but throwing it in a mystery box is a great way to bait RUclipsrs looking for a cool video.
And, honestly, it *is* cool to watch. Works out for everyone. ToyUSA moves expensive, hard to sell pops and Clint gets to make an interesting video for us.
Scott SJ high end Pops aren’t easy to sell. But are great for trading for other high to mid range pops
It is extremely difficult to sell high dollar pops. Anything over $100 in value sits and sits and sits for sale for a long time.

Harley Quinn is my favorite pop
and this is the exact reason i dont buy mystery boxes anymore much less from toy usa. they send out all of their top hits to "influencers" and the people who actually want the hits that arent going to turn around and sell them get all the garbage pops that are left over. its a huge scam and why i will never buy mystery boxes again.

It’s funny, when you got that Phoenix Figure In the gift box I was thinking they probably just wanted to get rid of a figure that was worth a little bit but not very desirable. Now it shows up in another box. I think that has to be one of the worst figures out there yet somehow it still holds value

$1k for a lump of plastic that just sits on a shelf. Incredible what some people will spend money on.
I mean I agree that $1k is extremely stupid for this, however saying it's a lump of plastic to criticize it can be applied to pretty much everything. By that logic I could call a priceless first edition book sitting in a museum just a brick of paper covered in ink that just sits on a table.

The slight difference between your comparisons is the POP could plummet in value in time whereas the priceless book won't.
Brian I don't agree with you about him taking advantage. He's a reseller and it's a customers choice to buy something. As to making money from the videos that's the case with most RUclips channels. You bemoan Clint making money from the video but you watching generates revenue for him. Don't watch if you don't like the content.

He earns advertising money from the ads RUclips runs . So If he did one 40 minute video with $3,000 worth of pops, he earns advertising on one video. 3 videos would be income on 3 videos of advertising.

I guess I'm old, ( which I am!😄) but I just don't understand why anyone would spend so much money on these vinyl figures. It seems like the market is flooded with them. I realize that some may increase in value but the majority will just end up in the trash. Oh well, to each his own. Thanks for the video!😁✌
In theory, the more kids that use them as toys, the more that are damaged at the store, the more that are thrown away, the fewer are left and the higher the value for that particular pop. The popularity of that movie, character, actor, etc will also go into into the value. But the Harley Quinn he got, they only made 144 of them to begin with. And it’s a popular character. So that means there will never be more than 144 of them.

I don't understand how a little damage on the box can make a pop less in value. The pop inside isn't damage. I understand serious collectors want the box to be mint. It just seems odd to me.

I dont mind the "rambling", I've watched unboxing videos without the rambling, just going right in to unboxing and it's quite boring. I learn a lot more from youtubers that have a lot to say. Anybody can order a mystery box and open it up on youtube, Clint keeps us tuned in and informed 👍👍👍

I really like your videos... but the title is click bait Clint. Should specify this is a Series of 3 like other youtubers do. The video says you’re opening 3k worth of boxes.... which is not true for this video.
