First Ninjago set I've seen in a while that looks like it had some actual effort put into designing it. And none of that snake person or robot crap either, just an awesome ninja set.
TheComicCrafter If you actually look closely, all of the Ninjago sets have plenty of effort put into designing them, even the smaller ones. Some like 9441, 9442, and 70747 have incredibly unique functions, while others like 9455 and 70734 use advanced building techniques and creative part use to achieve a unique look. The big sets like 2507, 9450, 70728, and 70738 tend to be packed with both great functions AND creative building techniques.
Did you maybe accidentally swap the 16x16 plate on the first floor of the temple with the one that goes under the Smuggler's Market? I had thought that the ground underneath both side buildings was supposed to be the same color. Just a minor nitpick, I loved the review!
What is Jay giving to that Clair person on the back of the box? Is it a not fully grown flower or is Clair a tourist that wants a souvenir? I'm confused, also that would be Yang's haunted temple cause he created Airjitzu? This set doesn't really fit into the storey line. Still awesome though!!
I'm thinking on doing a stop motion series of ninjago and I'm thinking about getting this set because it has all the ninja and plus the temple of airjitzu. I'm kinda bummed that they didn't have any villains like a few ghost army minifigures or maybe morro b5 I'm probably just gonna order some bad guys online

Scott Barnick A lot of the vehicle ones are a bit lazy, though. Buildings are where this line really shines.
