The original planned ending of the game was apparently for Spacey to aim the gun at you, then at himself. His final words would be something like, "I know what I'm doing" before he shoots himself. Since the game was heavily reliant on political drama, the concept of the main character going up to him and assassinating him would be such a major event, it would jump start multiple political movements for what Spacey fought for. I'm imagining as well that the way in which you met up with him would've been changed as well, but that original ending was meant to be ENTIRELY different. In fact, the super move-dramatic death of him falling off the exploding building ironically removes all tension from his death and therefore his motivations and ideas would die with him.
Loved this game when it came out. Played with my buddies every day in 7th grade. I don’t remember it running poorly on Xbox. I think people overlook Advanced Warfare. It was the first Cod with new movement, and I think the first two zombies maps and the campaign were decent. Apart from a bit of pay to win, I think the multiplayer was pretty cool too. I also hated carrier
Yea on console the only run issues were load times because of older consoles playing the game. However at the start he goes “its not even a pc port its a console port” so like- u can’t claim the game is bad when u run it incorrectly lol

Yeah, unfortunately, Advanced Warfare's PC port is quite literally the worst port I've ever personally played. Fun fact: Speedrunners of the game always expect to crash at least once during their runs because it's that consistent with how often it crashes. And it sucks too, we don't even have that fan S1X client anymore that make the game fun and get rid of all the pay-to-win elements either, so Activision really fucked us over.
Shame AW has Exo Zombies trophies. Would've enjoyed picking up the game physically for $5 and then just do the campaign and the junk survival mode for the Platinum.

The difficulty in a private match can be changed and is set to "Normal" by default, but the majority of players who told you it'd be hard probably only or usually have played it in public matches. I've found out due to noticing that in a private match with normal difficulty I would take more damage before dying and I would get support drops way quicker than in a public match.
