IS THIS SETTING UP THE BATMAN 2!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The Batman was an outstanding work in the film history of the character and Matt Reeves did the whole world so much justice with that film. The follow up TV show The Penguin promises to return us to that same Gotham, but from a very different point of view. Following Penguin in the Gotham TV show led to one of the most recognizably distinct versions of the character beside the likes of Danny DeVito, it seems like a no brainer to follow such a morally complex character in his own series, but can they deliver on the magic they teased in the film?
