Rod, just discovered these vids. They’re the perfect way to de stress and relax after a day of commuting on the London Underground and a long day in front of a computer in the studio. Thanks for a very immersive glimpse into a beautiful part of the world. I especially love the cooking, it’s mesmerising and brilliant slow tv! I’m inspired to do the same somewhere closer to home although now I want to visit Fraser Island and Australia! Best wishes from London. Tony
Its 6 months later, have you finally figured out they are lying and this is a world reset or new world order takeover yet? Did you figure out the mask are BS yet? They are saying 99% recovery rate but we must get the vaxxine? Yeah....no
M8 these solo camp vids are amazing go's to show u don't need a 10 grand boat to live life to the fullest. I would personally like to see more vids like this. And I do understand that u have a tribe so it's hard to find time Anyway love the content bro
Yeah, I'm totally agree. I have one of 3.5 meters and I do it too, it's magical. Congratulations sir for your adventures and a hug from Canary Island, Spain.
Wow im so glad i stumbled upon your channel my good man. Fishing, boating, catch and cooks, knowledgeable host, good language(meaning no cussing, which really i dont care because i cuss myself but its nice to not hear it). Just good quality content. Now i just have to go back and watch all your old vids since I'm late to the party lol. Cheers from florida my man!!!
I've had meals like that in Ontario on Islands on fishing trips, or in Florida in a resort on the water. Its shocking how much you appreciate mornings, breakfast, and scenery when you take a moment. Fantastic visuals Rokkit.
stumbled upon these videos the other day. Me and my son can’t get enough info it now. You look like you are having a blast and clearly are making right and sound decisions based on safety and being prepared. Best of luck to you and look forward to more videos
Love seeing you fish with the kids.i know how taxing that can be as I have 3 of my own.all grown now but looking back at fishing trips when they were small are some truly fond memories.good health to you and the family and thanks for the videos
That was driving me crazy, thank you for that. I guess Rod made that quick since a little food in the teeth is minimal compared to explosive diarrhea. LOL! Who knew, poor possums.
I got the same set up boat wheels outboard all goes in the boot of the car, no mooring fees cheap and easy, awesome video, landing net might have come in handy lol
Hey Rod, contact your local conservation office and recommend a sign for Frazier Island that reads: DANGER! Citrus peels will cause local Wildlife to fart themselves to death. LMAO
Would be great to get a boat review vid about how it handles in the different situations you've had it in. Been thinking about a boat like this for myself for about a year so would be great to know the pros and cons for using it as a fishing/camping boat. Thanks for making great videos for us to enjoy mate!
I scoffed when I saw all the go pro mounts, but then sat back and enjoyed the video... awesome stuff mate, loved it. Love your style and learnt heaps. I have been looking into the truekit navigator thinking they would be better for kids but that discovery is awesome. Cant believe how dry it stays. I dropped in to see rod at true kit in nz a few years ago, great product and great business. I definitely will be buying one. Im sure you have a plb on your jacket?
Just stumbled across your channel, great stuff mate, right up my alley,, cheers for the inspiration to get out there more,, this particular vid is in my home town, keep up the great work 👍
There's no place like Fraser. You should definitely get yourself out on the surf side of the island. That little inflatable would handle getting out through the waves a treat. I've always had a yearning for sauntering up through all the gutters on Breaksea Spit too. That would be a rad adventure.
Great series rod well done. You did well with the weather it's been blowing from the north for ages in the bay. Merry Xmas mate, thanks for the great vids.
Wow what a cool vid, love these camping, fishing and adventure videos. And totally love your story line. Top stuff Rod. Be really keen to see what your thoughts are with the boat now you’ve used it on a camping trip, hope it was as good as we thought it would be. Take care and have a very happy Christmas with the Fam✌️PT
Hey Paul, yep she’s performed perfectly, was super stable fully loaded and bounced up over all the chop in the channel even at 25km. Really happy and gaining confidence in the boat👍 have a great Christmas I’ll get back to your message shortly.

And also Thanks RodKITKIT for making me a better Bait Fisherman this Year RodKITKIT I caught so many new species of fish that I never caught before so I wanted to say Thank you RodKITKIT !! I can’t wait for the next video RodKITKIT !! And Thanks for putting your hard work and effort into making these videos for us RodKITKIT !! I can’t wait for the next video RodKITKIT !! I wish you all the best for your family and friends in the future and I hope you catch more massive Fish RodKITKIT !! Cheers William !!
Boat seems to be running great in the windy conditions. Even with a bit of chop cuts nicely. I used to use a large piece of rubber matting on my RIB which I draped over my right pontoon. I used to land fish over that mat to avoid hooks and teeth going in.... works well. Drape it down to water level when landing a fish and then flip it onto the boat when driving. I also had a piece on the floor that helped me land fish that I wanted to take home. It was quite thick... about 1/2 cm thick.... think I got it from Clark rubber. Glue some D rings on pontoon as attachment points eyelets in rubber mat and stainless snap hooks to attach mat to D rings. Quick on and off and doubles as camp mat as well.
Wowwww mate so nice the vids👍🏼👍🏼 im watching it from the netherlands and i wanna go over there to fish ,cant wait to go to bonaire for work and fish again😜😜
Hey Tubers, short of supporting through Patreon or buying his merch, if you want to support this bloke (Rod), play his vids while working and let the ads play through. Whatever it takes to get more of these great vids!
Hemp is the most saltwater resistant natural fibre, buy a metre of 16oz hemp canvas, glue round the edges to stop it fraying. Mix 20 parts white spirit with 1 part silicone RTV and paint the canvas with the mix, the canvas will become ultra hydrophobic.
Don't mean anything by this but would you be better off with a sailing vessel? Might extend your range and adventure? Kind regards and happy advetures.

I really enjoy watching your fishing videos...

@drop stix Our possums are not a noxious pest here Mate. Humans are the bigger pest here in Oz 🤣

You might think about keeping a 2'x3' piece of plywood with you. You could route off the sides paint it with oil base paint it will last a long time
Yes will figure out a good method over the next few trips👍
once again great vid.
Nice raw camera. Super editing.
Hope someday you can have your own yacht 🥰🥰 Godbless
7:58 "we'll go grab a knife" from experience I'm learning you only bring your fillet knife 😅🤷♂️ if it works it works right.
What a Life though.
Nice one mate

Lol 11:30 possums will eat the citrus and fart themselves to death or get explosive diarrhea! 😂😅
Love you videos mate. I always enjoy watching! Where are you from?
There’s something in The Old Man and the Sea about forgetting salt. Or lime? In that case sashimi in the boat, but you struck a Hemingway vibe for me.
Dudeee the mackerel was awesome, why you set it free? In my country that's lunch for sure lol
