You could go over the copic markers as a form of blending not only is it a good way to add more colors but it makes whatever you are drawing look rough and creepier
I think the word you're looking for here is: shit. The designs are shit. The games are literally modern day shovel-ware. At least deserving creative like Jordan here can profit off of their laziness and greed.
This is what mascot horror monsters should look like. Not a 3D model or realistic version of their cartoon counterpart, but rather a twisted version of that character with exaggerated features and little resemblance of the character they once were.
I love that the snail’s eye stalks are the fleshy parts of the optic nerve so the eyes are popped out of their socket as opposed to just being regular snail eyes. It’s a super creepy addition.
if you're trying out new art supplies, I'd be super interested in seeing you explore acrylics or heck even oils. Really lean into the whole Bob Ross of horror thing you have going on!
The creativity of each individual drawing is wonderful. While keeping to the original design while still adding the terrifying element. You’re my favorite content creator for your humor and art! Keep it up!
I really liked the near lineless version you did. I love your style, but its always nice seeing something just a bit different, and lineless or nearly so is always a fun style to see since it comes just that tiny bit closer to realism without really needing to be "realistic" (monsters rarely are truly realistic, just close)
I really liked the snail. Let yourself feel free to do simplier stylers or just different ones. Im here for it all. The detail work you put in is just A++, but I never feel like your "simplier" pieces leave me wanting more. Im just here to relax, and enjoy the process. Love your art style, even though it's vastly different from my own. So don't feel the obligation to do more and more for viewers' satisfaction. It's not a step back to not go over the top. That's how you burn out and last thing any of us want to see.
The minimal line work snail has to be one of the best. It looks more realistic than the thick line work. Maybe I should try this in my tattoo drawings. Thanks for the idea Jordan
This man has no reason being so underrated. He is one of my most favorite, inspiring horror artists. Jordan really spends so much time and motivation drawing for us. This man is consistent, a good artist, a great storyteller, and just such an inspiring person. I've been watching him for so long. He deserves at least 10 million subscribers. Anyway, we love you, Jordan! ❤
Every time I see one of your drawing videos, I want to get into drawing. Then I realize it takes a hundreds of hours to get upto a tenth of your quality.
Grab yourself a cheap sketchbook and just leave it next to you. Whenever you get in the mood, try to fill up a page. Don't look at all the hours Jordan has put in to get to his level. Instead, feel inspiration to get to your own level. Art isn't about being as good as another artist. It's about your own expression. It's easy to feel like you're not good in the beginning, but we all started there. And I've made some really cool pieces just using stick figures. The detail work will come with time and experimenting with your own style.
I really appreciate these because I do understand the time factor scratching out a chalk drawing on a driveway is a minimum of an hour and half, 3 hours at most. these super detailed coloured in visions I'm sure take half a day or more, it's dedication that brings these wonders to the screen, all Very Appreciated. thanks for the eye candy
Personal preference for me is the snail for top drawing this time. While your coloring is always quite good, particularly the light/shadow volumes, that one just took it to another level. It added in a bit more realism into it that just made is stand out significantly from the other drawings. But as always awesome video.
the softer lineworks really shows your layering process which is super interesting to watch, i'd love to see more of that style! watching it build up in values is fascinating and fun to study. also totally get what you mean by striving for perfection, thats why theres a pain in painting. we are our own harshest critics, the life of an artist!
Yet again you make very impressive art Mr. Persegati. I did indeed enjoy the mix up with thin line work on the slug. If your looking to mix up your art a bit more I would quite like to see your take on the marvel character Venom, or some of the other symbiotes. Thanks for sharing your awesome artwork with us, take care Mr. Persegati.
You have the perfect soothing horror narrator, or sadistic and cunning villain antagonist voice (your pick), and i appreciate that. Also, great art and definitely relate to the perfectionism part. I saw it follows, definitely an underrated psychological horror movie.
I actually have a question for you, JP ! As a veteran artist yourself now, what do you think is the most important to master : the lineart or the coloring ?
The blue one gotta be my favorite. The blood effect make it look alive. The last one looks like she’ll peel your skin like a orange and eat you alive. Definitely gonna have a nightmare tonight.
I love the thicker line works on your works, but regardless of thick or thin you make some amazing art! I love every single one of your works, thank you for putting as much effort into your drawings as you do!
This is zen to me. I’m a horror lover and these videos are my absolute favorites. No risk of drawings of little girls with red cheeks and adorable eyes. No unicorns, butterflies or pink clouds. I’m safe! 😂 I especially love the videos where you create from scratch like this one. You’re so talented and inspiring. I wish you’d make small videos of some of your techniques like drawing blood, saliva and other disgusting lovely stuff. Or even write a book. I’d buy it immediately ❤
Once you completely fill a sketchbook, have you ever put them up for auction? You have some amazing drawings and that would also help out your channel and allow one of your lucky fans to own some of your work.
My favs have to be *Stalker-* 🐌 and *Moldy-* 🍌 😹 the minimal linework with emphasis on natural color blending is absolutely breathtaking and something i would encourage you to do more of👏👏👏👏👏👏
Really enjoyed this video, especially your commentary on perfectionism! It's nice to come back to this channel, and see how you've been doing. Hoping to see more from you in the future, and thank you for the content! They make good sleeping videos.
Can you either redraw your favourite character or design?? I have adored your work for years and I am always gobsmacked when I see you're new designs and I just can't get over how skilled you are.❤
Lowkey, Nabnab is more terrifying as a kids drawing than the actual scary re-draw 💀💀 it’s just like imagine if your kid says “I see a monster roam the hallways at night” and you’re just like “okay sure, do you mind drawing it for me so we can scare him off” and they show you that. I’m burning the house down 😂😂 Also I wish you would have kept Snail just staring back at you, that’s the most horrifying and unsettling thing about him is he’s just staring and smiling at you 😊 But you are of course amazing!
Much more appropriate designs for creatures that live with constant, immense pain. I would love to see another video of these, especially since they seem to add more characters with each chapter. I'd really like to see the kangaroo that stuffs naughty children in its pouch.
I teach college level drawing and painting classes. When students complain about their work "not being good", I explain that getting better takes time and a lot of effort. But also offer that if they are ever completely satisfied with what they're doing, then they've stopped learning. Like them (and you), I always feel like my work is not as good as I want it to be. That's the curse and blessing of developing a talent. To sum: even though my work is more accomplished and professional than a novice artist, that only means that I suck at a much higher level than they do. Welcome to the club.

It would be really cool to see your take on Adventure Time characters, since they’re also very simple in design, and you horror Nabnab gave me Ice King vibes.
I would live to see some original monsters from you. Itd be cool to see what you could some up with. You make a little story for them and tell it during the drawing video.

crayola twistables, totally lol
