(I used translation software for some of the text) The game will probably look like 2:16 again this year. There is a lot of important information in Japanese on the screen, but many people may not understand the meaning of it. I will explain the UI for English-speaking people watching the game. (I've selected the parts that might be confusing for newcomers to the game.) I'm writing this for those who say, "I know the rules of baseball, but I don't know how to look at the UI of this video game." I hope you will stop at 2:16 and read this text. [What are the red, green, and yellow circles in the UI in the upper left corner?] The "B" row is the number of balls. The "S" row is the number of strikes. The "O" row represents the number of outs. At 2:16 , with two outs and the ball count at 3-2, the batter missed a strike ball and there were three outs. [Player Performance] In the lower right corner of the screen, you can see the ability values of the pitcher and hitter. In this game, basic performance values such as running speed, catching ability, bower, and ball control are displayed respectively. S > A > B > C > D > E > F > G parameters. (I don't know why the best is "S", like "Super"?) The average value is probably "D". [Basic abilities of hitters] Let's look at the ability of Batter named そらセンパイ, the hitter in the lower right. The 弾道 part is omitted. "ミート" means "How well does she hit the ball?" The higher this value is, the higher her batting average will be. "パワー" refers to batting power, which affects how far you can hit the ball, but it is not the same as throwing power. "走力" means how fast she can run, which also affects her defense. In other words, you can think of this hitter as "hitting the ball well, letting the ball fly well, and being a little fast on his feet.
[Basic pitcher's ability] Let's take a look at pitcher's ability on top of Batter It says "146km/h", which is the maximum pitch speed. This is not always the speed of the fastball. The pitcher has something like HP, and each time he throws, his HP decreases, which affects the speed of his pitches and the eagerness of his breaking balls. コントロール is for "Control", スタミナ is for "Stamina". The higher the stamina value, the less HP you lose, but it may change when you get hit by HR or hits. [Unique Abilities] It is given to players whose abilities change in certain situations. By giving this to a player, you can create a player like the one below. ・A hitter who can't hit when there are runners on base ・A pitcher who is strong in a tight spot ・A hitter who is extremely strong when the bases are loaded. There are so many that I can't explain them all. But there is an easy way to see it. If a player has a blue flame, he is stronger than usual. If a player has a red flame, the flame is weaker than usual. (Sometimes they glow yellowish flame, which means a lot of basic abilities have been increased.) That's it for the explanation.
