Good information. I think you should have mentioned the ways to separate the dry and wet area in the bathroom. Also, One more tip which everyone should follow that, of you are using chappals (flip-flops) in the bathroom or WC then, please make sure that it has the proper grip in the bottom sole. Make sure you throw away and replace the chappals once it becomes slippery. Some people use their old chappals in the bathroom which is very dangerous.
What is your view on nano coatings? It is supposed to give the desired grip but needs to be done once a year. Cost I believe is about 3K for a 100 sft bathroom.

NEVER. my experience with marble is extremely bad. Polished it less. Still, Can't use acid, Harpic, bleach on marble. But I had to and it went all black and porous. Vv bad. In my opinion, Cement is the best(if someone has no issues with it) wherever water usage is more.

Use marble in the bathroom
Marvel is more slippery than tiles.
