The vocals are at the top of their current skills and listening to Pau going all rock is a pleasure. I want to see her singing this as a frontwoman. Ale´s bass work has to be one of her best! Very rarely does she go so strongly on her own journey. Magnificent.
Pau and Ale really impress me, both are masters!!!! Especially Pau singing and drumming so precise ,also playing that kind of gender ( rock ) l never see anything like that🥁 thanks for posting this excellent video.🤟
I wish they could come up with a way to play the percussion break. Pau stands up to make it clear she’s not playing, but it just seems wrong. It doesn’t have to be exactly like the record.
We still going around in circles about phone compression? Matt's been a long time contributor to The Warning since they were kids recording many shows along the way and sat on Pau's throne in the Basement. We have no idea what he's using to capture the audio here.
What ????,many acts use a drum track as a fill - this also allows Pau the freedom to sing and "perform",before kicking in with her drums,this does not take anything away from the performance of the song.
The girls have being very transparent about using backing tracks (unlike many other bands) they only use It to add sound effects and secondary instruments. In the past several times things went wrong for a number of reasons and they just kept playing without backing tracks nor click. And they still nailed it. The crowd usually don't even notices It. They've said they use backing tracks only to enhance the song, but never that the backing tracks becomes the song. Even Rammstein uses backing tracks, dude! 🤙🏻
Sorry but this song sucks live. 1:26 literally not one of them is playing anything with a drum machine going on in the background. Pau should be getting some electronic drum pads like Danny Carey or Neil Peart to recreate that section. It just looks too empty on stage with all of them standing around not doing anything.
I will forgive them as its either bring in extra musicians or have a backing track for a part of the song, they have been using backing singing before like on HYCAD and they thought the drum machine works on this song.
The use of backing tracks is minimal. They can (and have done it several times) play WITHOUT backing tracks. And the crowd usually don't even notices It. They have even done several acoustic performances, and they sound great (search for them, they are easy to find). They are a three piece band. And there's only that much you can do with 3 instruments. Perhaps later they could hire one or two pro musicians to tour with them, for the time being they can't afford it. BTW all the backing tracks are recorded by themselves. Even the keyboards. They all are classically trained pianists.
I don’t care for backing tracks much myself, but sometimes they’re necessary. Watch The Who play “Won’t get fooled again” live. No one on stage playing all the keyboards, but Pete Townsend did record them. No one complained, they understood, and enjoyed!

Who cares it’s The Warning and this song rocks, back tracking and all 😊 it’s is what it is, cannot wait to see this performed live in September!
