Are the supplied tips classed as slow or fast taper? I ask, as I fancy the stepped up 11ft version for Chub fishing on my local small river, which demands, slow taper tips.

Why do you think that they come with glass tips? The video shows the tips lined up at 2.31, and they are clearly labeled ‘CARBON’ in upper right of screen (on the tips). And Drennan website confirms it.
Drennan please make 3 pieces 12 ft rod. 2 pieces rod very hard to transport. I was forced to buy pi supera x 12ft because of that. I am Drennan fan and very disappointed about 2 pieces design.
