Even if the wave of this type of graphical style started with Street fighter 4 this game is so pretty and it looks better than Street fighter currently
Glad to see this game is still active. I spent many a quarter on the first two versions, in the arcades of yore. My favorite character was the blue haired guy with tuberculosis.

I've been playing this game a lot lately and I really love the style of gameplay this game offers. It's just a shame it's not as popular as some other games on the market.

It died when it came out due to netcode being poorly executed smh. I love this game

@SNES Nes like about a month ago I think? I saw it on Reddit. I signed it but even if you did sign, I doubt SNK would have seen it. However I would be super surprised if they don't make a SS8. SS7 is one of their bestselling games of all time. It would be a waste not to make a followup.

That was awesome. Totally going to have to get into this game. That RoyalPsycho guy did an amazing job zoning. And he clearly wears his heart on his sleeve, so he's even more fun to watch. So many tense and masterful matches decided by the bell.
I've never played this game. I've heard about it, forever in a day. Watching this don't help. It's to slow. I like faster pace games, where mashing can be punished, and combos. I am not saying this game isn't good, but it's boring to watch. If there is something to like about this game I'm not seeing it.

I moved to an area with a loooong winter. Met my one and only friend and we are currently obsessed with this game. We meet after work to play, we don`t care about tiers n stuff but we both want to learn. Any specialized channel or content creator advice is appreciated. We picked characters cause we either like how they look or remember them from our childhood at arcades.

I think tournament competitions would be way better if the roster was bigger they have a whole lot of characters to go
The game is just too easy. No combo system. Super moves are quarter circles and half circles. Just cannot take it seriously.

when they glow red can do so much damage than before..and somecombos..is like "all or nothing".
They can be guard crushed with a heavy slash.

Why did this game fall off so quick? Can it not be played online?
It can but the netcode is atrocious. Playing through Parsec is the only viable way which means no console players.

People hardly play this online (except on parsec) because sadly the online is not good
Nobody plays this online anymore, but the bot matches are excellent and offline with friends is classic

It was so frustrating to watch that Galford play.
No ninja fundamentals. Throwing poppies at the wrong range and no intimidation with strike heads command grab to force OS jump out from the defending player. Ugh.

it a easy game but hard to master , you need to predict opponent move before hit any button . if you predict wrong , you will get punish with big damage .

they're all kids....probably the first samsho they ever played.....they play like rookies,lol...been playing this game since part one....i'm not badmouthing these guys...i like watching these matches...i'm just saying,you can tell they have'nt been playing for 28 years...i dont think any of them are even 28 years old,lol...it's just interesting to see a new generation of youngsters play this game...it is VERY faithful to the older games in terms of look and style...snk did a wonderful job with this
