yeah man, i miss binge watching the whole 6 seasons in 5 days. came to know about this series recently and I regret not watching it earlier. IDK how this series has not gained popularity esp when compared to the garbage that gets put in todays streaming services and getting millions of views. The whole 6 seasons were polished, never boring .
I don't think it's cancelled forever. I think there is a time jump in the story between what happened in the last season and what will happen next. The main characters are supposed to be old. (this is just from what i read on internet. I have yet to read the books) As far as remember this is just a break for everyone involved

The one thing I could say that we all agree on and we all know since telltale game back to this day it is The Wolf among Us 2 that finally came back to life
At least we only have to wait every two weeks for a new episode to drop by Telltale, before we have to wait every 3 to 6 months for a episode to drop by Telltale.
random thing I noticed: The proportions are off. If somebody is that close to Jupiter it would still be a long way down, but Jupiter still looks a lot bigger.
The ship hallways are also gigantic. Everything is even bigger than it was on the show, and the interiors in the show already didn’t fit in the exterior proportions of the ships. The show had a good excuse, cameras and wiring rigs need space, and it’s easier to build horizontal sets than vertical, but the game has no excuse. Feels very weird…

Only rights that the new telltale has, are the licenses to TWAU, Batman, and Puzzle Agent. The original telltale had said that once Stranger Things was released, they would work on TWAU and later Game Of Thrones S2. It’s going to take a long while before the new Telltale can acquire any of those licenses back.

The expanse universe has the potential to be as good as the mass effect franchise because, the story of expanse is really that good and has incredible depth and true story telling. Having watched all 6 seasons of and bummed there is no s7, this IP should have been taken by some AAA game studio like 505 or, a true story telling studio like Quantic Dream. The expanse universe has all; 1. Planets and belts to explore with your ship, 2. Various factions like earthers, mars, belters, syndicates, aliens. 3. Different planets and belts space stations having different biomes. 4. Truly intriguing politics between all the factions 5. Space wars 6. A mysterious story about the alien tech and who controls it 7. managing your ship and crew along with recruiting more members to your ship. Along with ship customisation. 8. Characters you care for and possible relationship and friendship/enemy pathway storylines with critical choices. 9. A doomfall enemy similar to Reapers from Mass Effect and Nightwalkers from Game of Thrones 10. Enough storyline to run for a trilogy (more if we include the exploration of worlds beyond the ring) I could go on because The Expanse is one of the greatest Sci Fi shows ever and one of the strongest SCIFI IPs after Starwars and Mass Effect. I imagine a game like starfield would have the potential to be set in the Expanse universe. Sadly this game looks like a cheap knockoff and not what i wanted from such a strong IP like The Expanse. I am happy, this universe is getting some recognition after being criminally underrated and going to the lengths of being cancelled due to budgetary constraints.
Did you read the books? In case you didn’t, please do. If you don’t like reading, listen to them in audiobook form (even better, actually). The last 3 books finally explain all the unexplained mysteries. They’re incredible!

Definitely not the character I wanted to play as. Her voice will get irritating fast. And frankly, this IP deserved way better than Telltales style of game. Also should have had a 100% realistic art style for the character models. Not whatever this is. Damn this is a waste of a great IP. What a shame.
Yeah… Drummer is great as a supporting character in the book/series, but I don’t wanna play her for hours in a game. The Expanse certainly deserves better. I’m still holding out hope someone will pick up the original idea The Expanse’s universe was created for, a triple-A MMO. Will probably take a small miracle though, but saving The Expanse was also a small miracle, so there’s at least some hope.
The main character in the TV serie is a male (Holden). Why does it have to be a female (Drummer with a broken voice?) in the game ? Why not the choice between gendre , at least ?

I mean even decisions about her ship she should know 'laser crystal is heavily occluded' means that it's ruined, and Maya can't do shit, but, "Hepr Depr, Get Maya to dooo eeeet!" is still a (from the limited knowledge of the player) valid response? Nah, just ends up making her look like an idiot half the time.
Something about the UNN Urshanabi interior design is off... The hallways shouldn't span in a longitudinal way with the ship, the floors should be perpendicular with the ship's hull, like a skyscraper. So in the spacewalk scene at 27:30, Drummer (Player) should be jumping off a level with no "ceiling" and then enter the other half of the ship through a hole in the "floor". I bet their level designers weren't an Expanse nerd😂

After Amazon picked it up the series just ended . It wasn’t cancelled, the directors new they would only be able to have 6 seasons.
