For me, Ultra Male is the winner. People say it's very sweet and candy-like, however, after applying it on a skin, after a few minutes you can smell this fresh lavender note which makes this fragrance not so dull, even a bit fresh. Absolutely love this one.

That's interesting. On me it starts very citrusy with vanilla and pear, and then the cinnamon really starts to shine, giving a spicy essence overall, with the sweetness and the citrus very well balanced. I just love it

They are very different, You can wear the original Le male as a daily wear, LeParfum at Night and Ultramale for clubbing
Le male le parfum is amazing for dating. For clubbing, i replaced ultramale (which i personally loved) with the new scandale and it works perfectly!
It’s all subjective! But for me. Le Male Le Parfum has the complete package. Kicks all the other flankers.

I love the original le male!! My dad used it so I bought it as my first fragrance. It’s beautiful everyone loves it on me and I gifted it to my friend and he gets great compliments.
I used to wear Classic and after many years recently I bought Le Parfum. I feel like we have matured together - me and the fragrance.

I was worried about wearing Le Male Le Parfum to work however I received nothing but compliments all the way. It's my first time in years that I'm deviating from Dior Parfums
Shocked by the hate on Ultramale. It's my favorite sweet fragrance, total beast it gets crazy good compliments.

Le Male le parfum is certainly my favourite from the line. It lasts around 10 hours on my skin, and the iris in there is beautiful. The iris gives it a smokey and mysterious vibe, enticing, while also being alluring, yet mature at the same time. I must agree with you on the original Le male though. My gf and I both didn't like the original le male much- we both think it smelled outdated and shabby compared to the new le parfum!!
Looking forward to wearing "Le Parfum" i just bought it for 50€ (125ml) great steal. I aswell never liked the normal Le Male, neither did anybody of my Friends and girlfriend Back then. I Sold it, after two weeks. It's not bad, but Just not that good either.
Ultra Male on the Other hand is great. First extremely sweet but then you get that amazing Mix Of lavender, pear, cinammon and Vanilla and some Woods later in the Drydown. Great compliments

Le Male Le Parfum is the best in this line ! And to me i don't recommend none of them in my experience
I still love the OG but then again I wore it back when it was launched back in the mid 90s. Nostalgic memories. Better as a Spring/Summer daytime Frag now.
Le Male Le Parfum it's complicated... But if u own La Nuit de L'homme or other flankers you don't need Le Male Le Parfum. Performance is amazing, but at the 1st spray doesn't feel like it. Sometines u can smell it after 10 h, sometimes u can't smell it after 1 h.
A video on “Replica” would be nice. “Jazz club” and “Matcha meditation” are my favs but they are all genius in my irrelevant opinion.

I think the older, BPI formulation of Ultra Male was really cool. It had that pear accent that was quite distuingishable. The new ultra male is also okay, but BPI was more natural smelling with better quality of ingredients. Are you into vintage perfumes?
I have bpi and puig. Bpi is definitely better in howbu described it. The opening sticks around for like 45 minutes. On puig it lasts only 15 min.

Great video Monika. I own all of these fragrances and out of the 4 you have discussed...I think I like Le Male Essence the best, followed by Le Parfum. I rarely wear Ultra Male or Le Male original. I do like the scent profile of the Original but it does smell dated. One fragrance I wear instead is Parfums de Marly Darly, which reminds me of Le Male original blended with Creed Original Santal.

The original sucks in my opinion. It smells like water with a drop of mint in it, and you won't even smell that after 15 minutes has passed. Since you already have Le Parfum, you should try Le Beau, Le Male On Board, Ultramale, and Scandal. (Scandal isn't part of the Le Male line, but it's still JPG.)

Funy fact: its not fear to compare Le Male with Versace Eros. Eros you can compare with bleu de chanel or even Sauvage or You, etc,..but its worth it (Le Male) also a good one

One of my Favorite Le Male's is Le Male Eau Fraiche Andre Edition, its like the better version of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme - it lasts 8 hours too!! Its a must try,, if you can find it

My vote is Le Parfum. I didn’t like ultra male or le beau
I Bought Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Essence De Parfum In 2018. My Girlfriend Sniffed It, Asked Me To Buy It & I Don't Regret Buying It & Till Now I Have Only Used 25ml Out Of 125ml. I Use It For Going Out Or Special Occasions. It's Very Upclass, Luxurious, Masculine & Mature Scent. I Enjoy Smelling It A Lot. I Had Ultramale, I Wore It Just Once & It Was Feminine To My Nose. So, I Gifted It To My Girlfriend.
The problem with some of these is they don't really stand out on testing papers. I probably only bought le male because i got introduce to it by putting it on in a bar restroom. I immediately thought 'purple', and pungent playful 'fanciness'. I liked it so much that i went back to the exact same restroom a week later to confirm what it was called. It still smells ok on paper but most of the spin-offs are uneventful enough that i didn't even try them on. I going to give le male parfum a shot though because of the high reviews. A jean paul gaultier finally up there in ratings with the likes of dolce gabbanna the one and ysl la nuit de l'homme.
Ultra male is like a Niche Fragrance. Kinda like a baccarat type fragrance

There is no best. It all depends what smell the individual person prefers. Some guys prefer a more masculine manly smell and some guys prefer or more feminine unisex type of smell. Personally I prefer a more manly masculine smell

Awesome video going into depth of each Le Male! You should do a review of JPG Scandal its somewhat of a newer release (2020 I believe could be wrong) I've heard it smells fantastic!
My opinion, ditch all of them and get JPG Scandal.
I'm reluctant to even try try le male le parfum, after some of the recent flankers I've tried im tired of the letdown. My favorite le male is eau fraiche (superman edition). I sampled that before buying full bottle. Ultramale, and le male In The Navy were both a disappointing blind buy.

I didn't watch this video but I bought the Le Male that I liked before this hours ago. I've tried all the Le Male and I dunno but fell for this last particular one you reviewed and "yes" this scent suits my personality and style! You are right! I almost bought the light-blue one and I was 'fighting in my mind' between the black one (gold colour button) and eventually I chose this black one cos I like it!!

Essence de parfum is my fav version
I have Le Male, Ultramale, Le Male La Parfum, Le Male On Board, and Le Beau. (And I can't wait for the new Le Beau Le Parfum to come out!) Out of all of them, the original Le Male is the only one I don't like. At least in its current formulation ... it's barely even a skin scent. There's just nothing there. 6:17 - My favorite is situationally dependent, but in general I'd say Le Beau is my favorite. But I feel like it I have to refresh it pretty often to keep the scent alive. But man what a scent! 😍
What I don't get is why this houses keep reformulating their perfumes! Especially when they barely ever make it better than before.

@@danlightened I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were asking why do they make Le Male La Parfume, La Beau, Le Male On Board, and other flankers. My fault.
Regarding reformulations ... I believe that houses are sometimes forced to do reformulations in order to stay legally compliant with modern health and safety standards. But I'm sure that doesn't account for every reformulation. I'm guessing in other cases it's due to ingredient cost and/or availability of ingredients.
@@davidfragrance I believe the only popular ingredient banned in the last decade was oakmoss.
And the actual animalic ingredients haven't been in use in mainstream perfumery for quite a few decades now.
And if they replace ingredients with cheaper ones, that's sort of manipulation; giving weak cheap shit instead of what people hyped it up to be or different from what you first fell in love with.

Original Le Male is terrible in my opinion, just like bitter soap. So bad. Le Male Parfum is an exact opposide of it. Good, unique, sweet.

Washed down Scandal pour homme.
Le male likes 90's scent.. It is similiar to Amouage reflection man but amouage is in a more luxurious blend .. Combo le male 70% and ultramle 30 % it has a gentle fragrance and has a sexy element at the same time

Excellent video! I actually have never purchased any of the Le Male fragrances yet, but I'm likely pulling the trigger sooner or later for Le Parfum. Have never smelled the Essence though, so hard to find. But I agree Le Parfum would be the best overall Le Male choice to get, in particular for special occassions. As an all-rounder everyday scent maybe the OG still has a place, for those who like sweet bubble-gummy fresh scents. But in general that one not for the evening or special occassions.
