Hello guys! Thank you ever so much for this amazing coverage of my homeland! It is most flattering to realize that we Lithuanian nationals all over the world have perfect reason for adoring our country. As I watched you bathing in one of our lakes , my heart was overwhelmed with envy and an ardent desire to visit Lithuania over an over again, of course accompanied by my German husband who is as fond of Lithuania as I am.
Tge cities in Latvia are pretty cool and all, but you need to chek out the nature parks and different nature objects cuz we have a lot of them here in latvia and they are really not that popular but they are stunnig
Latvia is certainly looking a great country so far, is it actually as clean as it appears on the vlog? Really looking forward to the continuation of your Baltic travels.
What we do is have teams of highly specialised cleaner teams mapping out all travel vloggers destinations and cleaning everything before they arrive. It's a whole team effort in all Baltic states.
Cape Kolka is a place where the open Baltic Sea & Gulf of Riga meet. If you look at the map of Latvia you see how long Latvian costal line is and that all are white sand beaches where you can go for miles without meeting any people. Liepaja should be windy, it' s called the City where the Wind was born. It's also a place where the many of Latvian rock bands are coming from, they have their own Alley Of Fame dedicated to musicians. When you pronounce Latvian place names, stress is always on the first syllable. Ventspils you pronounced pretty good by the way. p.s Whole Jurmala city has costline of 26 km. You are in centrum called Majori. Enjoy your trip further in beautiful Latvia!
Great that you are able to get further into Europe now. We are already excited about getting back there next year all being well. Safe travels and watch out for those cats! 😊👍
Thanks! We're still going north from here, Estonia next! This part of Europe, in fact most of Europe, is so much more Covid-safe than the UK, so we're embracing the stunning surroundings, the lovely people and the epic (and super quiet!) adventures... rather than rattling round the UK. We'll be back. Just not soon. 😉❤👏👍(Hope you guys are loving your Moho life too!)
Great video’s and thank you both for sharing with me. Beautiful Countries and so clean and tidy . Love all signs ,gardens , monuments etc but unlike this country nothing seems to be vandalised??? and don’t seem to see many police ? It makes sorry to live here and not in the Baltic’s ( too late in life for me now) one reason I enjoy your videos . Many thanks and good luck to you both .👍🚐
Liepaja was the best part to stop and explore. Whole town is preserved as it was in USSR times. Nothing much happens in Jurmala. People couldn't travel outside USSR so they went to Jurmala beaches from all over USSR. Now they can travel to better and warmer beaches so Jurmala was no longer attractive. Tourism is lost.
Understood thanks, as we said in the vid, we were meeting friends in Jurmala so we didn't have time to stop in Liepaja for more than a few hours - looked like a lovely city though!
@with Pihatchu Not everyone loves too hot weather and overcrowded beaches. Pine forests & see air produce very healthy mixture. Good food, clasy spas, clean & tidy surroundings make Latvian beaches favorite direction of holidays for many. We are Norwegian-Danish- German gang coming overthere for several years.
This the most beautiful country in the whole world. ❤
Your pronunciation of Ventspils was quite spot on.
Latvia looks amazing. Thanks for posting and sharing this great video.

@William Channing All Baltic countries are pretty clean.
It is! It was! We love it - all the Baltic nations are stunning!

Yes, Latvia is very clean. You can't drop a cigarette but in a street. The penalty is 40 euros !
@@ninagendrikh3376 The fuck are you talking about?
the highlight of my week loved it

Jurmala means "beach on the seashore". You should be more ingenious...
@@maciejszymanski2386 No, it literally means "the seaside." Please stop spreading nonsense.

Ventspils Best Latvian city!!! ❤️
My city my lovely Jurmala! In english it would be some thing like Sea edge.
sea side, not sea edge.
@@aris1188 Wrong! And here's why! Side translates as puse.
@@ar4ijss puse translates as HALF
@@ar4ijss Sword has an edge, sea doesn't have an edge.
@@ar4ijss Triangle has three sides - trīsstūrim ir trīs malas

Entire Jurmala is nothing more than a Russian colony. You barely hear any Latvian spoken there.
no one is wearing masks in Latvija :)
