Chucky surprised me by turning out to be one of my favorites from NECA. For most of my NECA figures, I find a pose I like and leave them that on display. I enjoy posing the Chucky a lot more often. I picked up a second one so I could continue to do so without worrying about breaking it. That's how I found out about the reissue. I prefer the lighter blue overalls and skin tone of the first release, but both are great. The reissue also has much better paint on the battle damaged head, as it includes paint apps for the staples whereas the original had them painted like stitches.
I wish he head a bloody nose CP2 head It sucks we only got CP1 CP3 curse and a good guy head with no cp2 head I was hoping a reissue of this one word have new heads and accessories like the past reissues

This definitely seals it for me, thinking I’ll be picking this up if I spot him in public. Very excited for the tv series, trying to go in with no expectations. I did that with Curse and Cult and I absolutely loved those films.
I love figures with many weapons, that could be good for customization. I'm taking notes and making a list of figures that I want in the collection. I'm so glad I found your awesome channel.
I just wanted to let you know, and I doubt you’ll see this. I’ve been subscribed since early in your RUclips career, and I doubt you’ll see this. But whenever I want a figure review, I always double check your catalogue. Your lighting and camera focus on the accessories and details of the figure is the tippy top. Thank you for always focusing on the figure without bias, wish you much more success than you’ve already found.
I might pick up the rerelease if I come across it but I won't go to any trouble. Not that much of a difference to me but I do enjoy seeing what they change when they reissue these. The first version seems fine to me. Great review, as always.
This is a great figure I bought 3 of them on launch. Didn't know they redid them. I have one with a bad paint job on his overalls looks faded like faded and dirty but the other 2 I have are fine. Chucky's eyes painted on his heads is a little different if you compare various figures like sometimes it looks like he's looking to the side other times not. But good enough on their paint job. I feel the teeth look better on the older issued figures they look whiter. Nice job. Im excited for the new series.

I think getting a part two or part one child’s play ultimate chucky could be cool and we might get some more accessories and heads. Think a screaming chuck like when he bites Andy’s mom or a smile head from the second movie when he walks out with the yard stick. For accessories would it no be cool to get the batteries sealed in the bag like when they fall out of the box from the first movie.
You could also get a bloody nose Chucky head with a ultimate part 2 Chucky. And a Childs play 2 Chucky could have a removable bottom half that allows you to recreate the scene where he’s attached to that table at the end of Childs play 2. Would also love a burnt Chucky that you can remove the body parts to make him look like just a torso like he was at the end of Childs play 1 you also could include the Voodoo doll.
Don’t need a child’s play 1 version as we already got that head in this what we needed was a child’s play 2 head as he only got CP1 CP3 curse and good guy head but no nose bleed child’s play 2 head so the child’s play 2 weapon are almost useless

I've been seeing another reissue where the inside cardboard is blue and the chucky doll has black eyelashes also the staples on the face are also very defined. Have you seen that one?
the old heads were way better the old heads had a warm color to them but the new heads have a cold almost dead color to them, even their lips are purple for some reason i'm always kind of annoyed when fugure get an improved rerelease but here i'm happy i have V1 chucky because he looks superior in almost every way to the reissue
I’ve never bought a Chucky because I’m more into the alien, predator and terminator lines at neca, but if I bought one, I would display it with the voodoo knife because it’s classic chucky.
I personally prefer the original bc if you look at at least the first 2 child's play movies, Chucky (and every other good guy doll) has skin with a yellow undertone. I think they might have went with a pink undertone with newer designs but idk.
check the colour of its teeth and lower jaw under the mask, the original had a green head with bone coloured teeth and lower jaw, the reissue has it the same colour as the head. I actually did a review of the reissue Part 6 Jason and I compare the two if you wanted to check that out

I bought a reissue. And there were two angry face sculpts instead of the Bride of Chucky head and NECA still hasn't gotten back to me.
Original version is way better in all aspects.
