I watched the video and discussed it with my mom. She is poorvabhadrapada and I'm Uttarabhadrapada. She told me an amazing fact about cow. That the cow has an ability to attract water! The place where cow is reared, where she excretes, the place when digged would contain water below, even if it was dry and arid before. That is cow can channelise the water and can attract towards herself!

I am Purva Bhadrapada Ascendant. My mouth dropped when Eve mentioned to contain the fire when agitated. I go mute and isolate myself when someone has angered me, I do this to prevent myself from saying very mean, harsh, cruel and hurtful things once I say them I will not take those words back if I say them I mean them. I don't just blurt hurtful things out though I say things no one ever dare tell them about themselves but I come out very harsh, cruel and I guess burning them.

It is wonderful to hear an American who has made efforts and can now pronounce Sanskrit properly. Congratulations Eve. There are so many great American and other Western scholars of Sanskrit, Jyothish, Hinduism, etc. who seem to fail to grasp the importance of proper pronunciation, especially of Sanskrit.

I was born on the first day of the full moon in Purva Phadrapada and my life has been a spiritual transformation. I noticed every time in summertime when Purva Phadrapada comes in full moon, there are thunderstorms for a few hours in London, UK. At those times I feel a huge energy shift, like my body, is spinning and shifting... I connect with this nakshatra so well.

Thank you so much for this - I was born under the Uttara Bhadrapada with moon in pieces - and recently had an experience that catapulted me into a deep spiritual path with spontaneous chanting of aum namoh shivay and intense meditations (born into a monotheistic religion so this was quite foreign to me) - I have always been a deep thinker with questions like who am I and why am I here knowing there is an important purpose to my life. You were also spot on when you said we are daydreamers with immense imagination. I’ve also had a relatively tough life with periods of grace and breathing space but everything in my life has changed suddenly - sudden death of father, career change etc - sudden ups and downs. This has also meant that through these “learning phases” in my life I became deeply introspective and somehow know within that moksha is my calling. What I have also learnt through looking within is that there is tremendous will required to push away from being static and to be active - because when we are active we achieve BIG things 😊. Yoga and nature walks are what keep me going while meditation, devotion and gratitude sustain my joy and deep sense of happiness
May we all evolve to our highest vibration and bring us as ‘one’ into the satya yuga - the golden age - love to all x

In Aikido the first and main practice is the bow. The bow is, like you say Eva, the foundation of practice, of growth.By bowing we empty our cup, as you say we need to humble ourselves. A cup that is full cannot learn anything new. Thank you for filling our cups.

I've been putting this on my watch later for a long time and I decided to watch it now when Moon is in Aries and conjunct Uranus and Mars. I felt soo understood by the way Eve explain about Purva Bhadrapada. Both my Jupiter and Rising are in Purva Bhadrapada and yes, I found silence to be my greatest weapon. I also feel the need to always have my privacy and never tell anyone more than they should know about me. Too much information unleashed will be a boomerang. I also always observe everything ever since I was a child. Whenever I know something, I'll pretend I don't know to see how far someone will lie to me. Also the devotion part is true to its core. I always devoted to anything I care about which can cause that destructive nature coming out when people let me down. Also, I notice we gravitate towards karma and paying karma. Also, my Purva Bhadrapada friends and I are worshipping Lord Shiva.

Purvabhadrapada : I have Jupiter in 3rd pada of this nakshatra. Yes. About concealing the activities. Thats very true.
Uttarabhadrapada : I have my Venus in 3rd pada here. And I used to have non vegetarian, till 3 years back, I shifted to a house where there was a butcher shop nearby, and every morning, when I woke up to the cries of a dying animal, I used to go to a secluded place in my home and cry on my helplessness. Indeed that experience made me a strict vegetarian today.
That aspect is so true. “We can feel others feelings, as our own at times”.
I hesitated to share these with other people, because I don’t want to come across as mad or weak. Because I know that I am not, but I have a way of feeling things deeply, that others can’t understand of.
I sincerely want to thank eve mendoza mam and arjun pai sir. For this video. I appreciate your efforts, and the way you bring out the knowledge and create an environment, where its free flowing and ego free. And just ample source of knowledge.

Namaste. My God, I have to say this to you ,I have Saturn 0 degree in PurvaBhadrapada 4 , Uran in 0 degree Utaraphalguni, Jupiter in Pushya 2, Moon in Kritika 3 ,Venus in Purvashada 3. Rahu in Bharni 3. I am Virgo ASC. Many times when I connect with Divine energy I see myself as a Avatar, siting on Big lotus in the see at night, in front of Big full moon ,and candles around me . I understand that I have been working always with fire and water element .Also many, many times I am in my inner Master power holding in one hand fire and other water .Other times I just see my self siting near the river ,my legs in the water where I see crystals, diamantes, and all different gemstones. So ,all this is just the symbolism you were talking about at the end of your video. Amazing. I have really a lot of synchronicity in my life. I am a healer, but not a commercial one. For many years I consider myself spiritual, but not a religious person. I can see easily through the people, no fan of fake Gurus.
I just started to learn Vedic Astrology 7 years ago, but it is more of an extra tool to doble check thing when I do energy readings. Blessings and keep up the good work.

I'm a Pisces ascendant with Moon in Pisces in Purva Bhadrapada pada 4 with lagna lord Jupiter in the 7th in Virgo in Hasta and Mercury in the fifth in Cancer in Punarvasu. I'm like a psychic sponge and live in this weird (not in a bad way) headspace all the time. Life is very instinctual and intuitive and I'm able to 'see' the inner workings of things. Also very particular of the people I surround myself with.

Over the years I have heard Eve here and there and I really hope She comes out of the shadows more because people need to hear from Her wisdom, intellect and compassion.
Of Course Dr Pai, I am indebted to your work too. What You have done for students on this path is deeply grounded in self sacrifice, duty and wisdom. What more could we ask for.

hi Dr Arjun ji , it's Denice ( dhyana ayurveda) this is absolutely spot on. and I just love eve so much , because she totally gets it .the needed reverence especially with regard to astrology . I usually do not like to speak of my chart , however , with regard to the kundalini power of purva bhadra pada , I have my shani in less than 1 degree in my ascendant in purvabhadrapada and at the age of 16 I had spontaneous kundalini rising that was so powerful it chipped my coccyx. I of course have a few other placements that lend to my spiritual path...however once I started to study the nakshatras it became very clear to me they all had a part and especially p.bjadra pada . it took me 9 yrs to age 25 to really use the energy in a balanced way . as eve described the critical aspect even to gurus . I am glad eve has ventured out to the public she is very needed in the astro community . though I understand full well the need at times to stay hidden and silent much like the lesson of purva bhadra pada . may you both stay blessed .

My sun sign is Purvabhadrapada and I always move to countries that have a beautiful blue clear ocean where I can swim even when it’s cold. I love cold weather and I was told that as a baby I would get heat rash from being too hot if they put a hat on my head for warmth while I always get sweaty feet from wearing socks even in winter. I love meditating and yoga daily focusing on my spine naturally and I used to get back problems from wobbly chairs so I prefer to sit on the floor and on a cushion on the floor when eating for my digestion too.

Hindus treat cows very SACRED because our ancestors already knew their WORTH and that is why they incorporated this fact of " preserving cows into the religion " itself . Religion is meant to show us what is good ...what is pious... and accept it as way of life... more like giving foundation. I am not saying this because I am Hindu but because this makes SENSE ! Nature is the biggest religion of all !

Very interesting point Dr Pai brings up about Ma Laxmi. The root word Lakhsha not only means goal (or objective) but also to pay attention. It is the attention we pay towards our devotion, our worship, our desire (spiritual or material) which allows us to attain our goal... our objective. And we always think of blessings in general, but particularly for Laxmi as "showering of blessings"- very interesting about the rains (showers) and Ma Laxmi both being associated with Uttara Bhadrapada. Thank you for another wonderfully informative session...

I have Mercury and Venus in Anuradha. I have few friends as Eve mentioned. I only want to make friends if I know I can have a deep, meaningful relationship that starts straight away and the other person is similarly keen. Anytime the other person lose interest I will also likewise. That may be reason why I’m more keen with love interest who shows more attention rather than friendship that could turn out to be superficial.

It makes so much sense to me...Uttara Bhadrapada ascendant with Pushya Venus as Ak(a lot of 🐄 energy...🙈), both around 29°, so very much working together... I am indeed a true daydreamer. I totally understand Eve when she talks about the circle of life and how we need to respect nature...I find it hard to speak to people about it, cause they feel judged, so I simply am as I am, knowing that those who are ready will understand. I don't eat meat, but not because of religion...i've felt like letting it go long time ago, i was only 14 and it wasn't a fight, it felt so natural to do so...once again, about the cow, I have a weakness for milk...i am on and off of it, cause I feel best on a 100% plant based diet, but I must admit that cow's milk feels very nurturing to me in some deep psychological/esoteric/heart chakra kind of way🐮...Kind of like when the warrior feels wounded, they go back to what heals them. Another thing i've noticed related to Eve's talk, is the relationship of the bhadrapadas to electromagnetic fields. I have no Purva Bhadrapada, but I feel that connection so strongly sometimes: like closing computers, burning lightbulbs or exploding them...or even causing overall electricity cuts in the whole house, which sometimes include explosions and fire (this one usually happens when i'm not well, when i'm being mistreated or deeply hurt by certain circumstances and I can no longer control the electromagnetic fields). I am a therapist, so I also feel the current at work along the physical therapy sessions, especially with massage therapy: most people tend to fall asleep or open up about things that they cannot normally talk about. This can also affect bhadrapada's peace, cause we tend to take in and transform those energies released by the patient, which brings in the need for movement that Eve mentioned as well. I have found sports to be the best way to direct those accumulated energies that we so easily pick up. I know this will sound weird to many people, and I understand, I don't know everything either, sometimes I feel like i know nothing at all...so i keep researching within and around...With Venus in the 5th house as Ak i've always felt lucky and blessed, even though my life hasn't always been and still isn't only about butterflies and rainbows😋...What really intrigues me is that I am always caught in between the piscean "why should I be interested in a physical life, why did I choose this when I could've experienced eternal bliss outside of a limited/limiting physical body" and the venusian childish/creative view from the 5th house : "life is interesting, there is so much to be experienced, there are so many things to learn and so many people to love, why not?"...And I do feel that there must be a higher purpose to this physical life, i've always sort of known it, that's why I keep going, but deep inside there is always...always...always this big question revolving around wholeness/nothingness...I'll end my rambling here by saying thank you to Eve and her host, I remember Eve mentioning how India feels like home to her...well, to me, with Jupiter in Sravana Nakshatra conjunct my Moon(12th house), listening to people like you feels like home...so thank you, beautiful souls!❤

I’m uttarabhadrapada ascendant but never felt anything with cow milk in particular. But when I’m hungry in odd times my go-to food/snack is cow milk any hour. I can have it as much as I want. I don’t find it heavy like other people complain.

@@tula__ You are lucky! In astrological terms, I think that the milk is not very good for snake/dragon related nakshatras, like the bhadrapadas(to some extent) and ashlesha(the nagas). The milk is an antiseptic. Any poison/chemical/drug can be a remedy, or a killer, but when in contact with milk, the effect of those substances is nullified. It is said that the serpentine nakshatras all contain the power to use dangerous substances with good and/or ill intention. They are also more resistant to the effects of poisonous substances. I believe that milk is the antidote(i remember giving it to cats as a child, when people would poison their food; in my country the elders teach us as kids; and I donno if you know, but cats are milk intolerant too, just like many humans; I think it is the ashlesha implication, also visible in cats, not just in serpents), maybe that is why it should be used accordingly, only as a remedy, especially by people with serpentine nakshatras in the chart(for healing themselves and others). Why? Because you don't want your body to get used to it and become immune to it's antiseptic qualities, just the way you don't take antibiotics or aspirin every day. Anyway, this is just a theory, I might need to study more.😆🐉🙏

@@tula__ Oh, btw, i'm Utt. Bhadr. Ascendant too, and I don't find milk heavy, it is actually very regenerative in certain moments, but I feel like it's disturbing the natural course of action for the dragon nakshatras, the every day present being, it sometimes brings imbalance in the energy field of the body, causing cravings and indulgent behaviour. Why? Because when the most sensitive/deeply perceptive waters of Uttara Bhadrapada and Ashlesha come into contact with the cow's milk, those nakshatras also take in the pain/fear/lack of peace of the cow(for good reason...if we look at the way cows are treated in many places around the globe), which will further deepen the dragon's already existent inertia. Now, of course, other forces in the chart might be able to balance that out, but for that, we would need to see the chart in it's entirety. Hope my messages find you well and healthy, best wishes for all!❤🙏

Salutations Dr Arjun Pai and Eve! We're grateful to witness and absorb both of your wealth of knowledge on nakshatras and the significance behind them. Your point on respecting nature and Eve's point on the sacredness of cows are the need of the day. You had my undivided attention for the entire length of the video. As you promised, please schedule more nakshatra sessions with Eve. Thank you!

I absolutely loved this presentation! It was very fluid in thought and to be honest it made me feel like everything I was previouslly studying was just skimming the surface, in a good way! This dove deeper into something I had researched, but couldn't quite figure out what it meant until now. Great presentation!

I have Kumbha lagna rising in the last degree of 29 deg and 56 min, located in Purvabhadrapada nakshatra, Buddha in Uttarabhadrapada along with Ketu in Revati in 2nd house in Meena rashi and Surya in Bharani in 3rd house in Mesha.
The personality traits, the life approach and the thought process of the purvabhadrapadas you described in this video is pretty accurate and applicable. best wishes for the great work.

Hello Eve, I also read through the book you referenced below "Introduction to the Pancaratra and the Ahirbudhnya Samhita". Sometimes I feel that all of this so called approach and achievements of modern science is already revealed over several 1000x times in these Shashtras. However the current climax period of the Kali Yuga is making these "material" sciences achievements to make humans indulge into "prakariti" as it has never been before; ignoring the source "purusha". Though, Adwait approach assimilates both into single seed. That is why when lord Krishna reveals his viraat roop, the asuras as well as the devata's are none but his manifestations. The two are created to keep the other in "check" :). That is why the supreme is "nirguna" - above tamas, rajas and sattava. The concept of "Pralaya" for us humans is within; when one gives up the desire and attachment to the shareer, the vishaya-bhog of indriyas - the pancha gyaan-indriyaas and the pancha karm-indriyaas, the arrogance of achievements in mind, the misuse of intelligence, like you rightly said, when all of these are supremely aligned - the atma unions with the param-atma.
And how much of distortion is brought to atma; it cannot be seen, and so the Greeks started using it to describe Atomos as such. And the modern scientist when they started building the periodic table of elements in the 19th century, they knew then the smallest physical size that could not be seen as Atom. This is the most beautiful distortion of Kali-Yuga - and that is why humans are in so much of pain - because they refuse to seek truth within, instead reach-out to prakariti to reveal the truth. And only the Gyaani knows what prakriti has to offer to one :)
And as Dr Pai beautifully describes the 27 nakshatras as the Lunar mansions - the energy vortexes; they are also supposed to house the 27 wives of Moon, who in turn is a significator for the individual's mind and also the mother. It simply denotes that it is impossible for humans to escape the roller-coaster experiences of repetition of the 27 day cycle throughout life and in every reincarnation; the only way to come out of it is to go through the storm.
The beautiful concept of Kaala (Time), Gross, Subtle - the theory of relativity, Einstein, the Unified Theory of Everything, et al - all looks like plagiarizing "research" (searching again) of a very low magnitude - the “physicists” seem to have scathed only the surface with their "prakriti" approach of what the yogi “meditators” achieved with their "purusha" approach.
The Origin of the Egg (Brahamanda) - compared with the Big Bang theory; the Black holes where light cannot escape - the mouth of Vishnu in his Viraat roop where everything flies into it to simply get consumed as energy.

I have 3 planets in uttarabadrapada (Mars, Saturn, sun), purvabadrapada (Mercury), Ketu(revati) in 8th house. Lord Shiva is my breath. Purvabadrapada, uttarabadrapada and revati belongs Lord Shiva as I observed in people's horoscope too. Some vaishnav astrologers associate these Stars with Vishnu. Manager doesn't have anything to do with pisces sign. Destroyer Shiva destroys sense of seperate individuality, desires, bondages to make you one with everything..

Thank you Dr Pai and Eve ji, especially for guiding us how to handle the energy of this nashaktra. I have Jupiter p.3, Rahu p.2 and sun p.4 in Purva Bhadrapada in my navamsa and I can feel it applies strongly to me. I don't know if learning vedic astrology is considered "spiritually-inclined" but I do know I am very embarrassed with it (it makes me feel like a hypocrite) and I am very secretive about it. Kapiel ji in his career consultation said that I will be some kind of guru or consultant in a very spiritual field (Revati Jupiter in my dasamsa lagna and Purva Ashada Mercury in 10th house, and Rahu in 9th house looking at my lagna) but I really don't like this idea because I am really more of a material person but oh well, let's see. Maybe I will give up meat and wine one day, who knows. Thank you again. Namaste
