I have used Milky Way as a reference.
Sagittarius A* Milky Way with naked eye
You want him to come
@@milkywaygalaxy9438 you can see milky way inside with naked eye
@@sharethisposttrendiscringe wait can we? I thought we can see milky way only through cameras with nuts exposure time.
@@sharethisposttrendiscringe Yes
Fun fact: The Andromeda Galaxy can actually be seen with the naked eye, and is actually bigger in the sky than the moon is. The problem is that it's too dim for us to be able to see the arms and appears more like a fuzzy star. But the Andromeda Galaxy would appear about 6x bigger than the moon in the sky if it were brighter.
Look up some pictures of how Andromeda would look beside the moon if it were brighter, they are awesome
Ok but if it appear bigger it mean it’s closer than moon ? Never mind
@@Garage_Distinct_Clips no , not at all . all the stars in the sky are from hundreds to thousands , to millions of light years away , but because they're so bright and big , we can see them from such a distance . however , despite how faraway it is , we can some what see Andromeda because it's so massive and so abnormally bright . in fact , it's so bright that it's one of , if not , the only galaxies we can see with the naked eye . other galaxies which are closer wouldn't appear without special equipment because they aren't as large nor bright . so no , it would appear bigger due to the size and brightness , not really the closeness . i suggest looking into it because its 1 AM and this likely makes no sense .
can it be seen in the western united states? Pls answer!
@@getsomehelp6261 It can, actually now is the time we can see it, from June-February. Like I said though, it just appears like a small, fuzzy star to us, you cant see the arms.
I'm not sure at what time or where in the sky it is though, you'll have to look that one up
@@nit0134 june 2021 - february 2022? Also yeah, I researched it up ( literally everywhere because i love space ) and it seems that it is near andromeda and Cassiopeia. So it lasts from june 2021 to february 2022? Wow!
A difficult concept to come to terms with is the sheer size of these galaxies. When we look at the Andromeda we are looking at something as it was 2.5 million years ago. When we look at he edge of our own galaxy, we see something 60,000 years ago. We are not seeing things as they are now.
True
indeed
not really

Yup
I have those dreams now. My subconscious amazes me.
These galaxies look so traversable... like you can go across them as if they are new horizons; but you can't. They are so vast, so far, and so deadly in every way, despite their serene appearance and lives. It almost makes you sad, like you're missing an opportunity to go across these big, glowing adventures.
Makes me sad ,kinda
@@themorningguy906 What also makes me sad about this is the fact that they look so lively, yet you know that in terms of life, especially human life, these beautiful galaxies are barren.
Felt the same
Imagine coming out of your tent at night for a security measure only to look at the sky and notice any of the NGC and the Cartwheel galaxies
If that happens i'll just live in my tent or maybe build a house.
I would be concerned as hell if i saw the damn milky way galaxy in the sky

Fun fact: Even if the Andromeda Galaxy is more larger than the Milky Way Galaxy, they still have the same mass.
Another fun fact: Galaxys are big because there middle is a black hole, if they are massive, they can absorb any matter or stars to create a galaxy, it will take longer like... 4.5B Years.

you can actually see the milky way galaxy with zero light pollution, and it doesnt look small either- it looks massive in the sky
Oh my god they look so beautiful, almost as if it was a painting.
Fun fact: IN 4 BILLION YEARS, THE MILKY WAY AND ANDROMEDA WILL COLLIDE AND MERGE.
So 0:53 is quite a realistic sky view for the future generations of earthlings.

@@ayjay4894 triangulum galaxy eat popcron when seeing galaxy collision
Both the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy (M31) are giant spiral galaxies in our local universe. And in about 4 billion years, the Milky Way and Andromeda will collide in a gravitational sumo match that will ultimately bind them forever.
Because astronomers previously thought that Andromeda was up to three times as massive as the Milky Way, they expected that our galaxy would be easily overpowered and absorbed into our larger neighbor. But now, new research suggests we’ve overestimated our opponent.

Just how big is the Andromeda galaxy?
Astronomers used to believe that the Andromeda galaxy, our nearest galactic neighbor, was three times as massive as the Milky Way. Not anymore.

Me: The universe has an unknown size.
Beyond our knowledge
It’s 150,000,000,000 light years
@@TheGreatFrieGMD that alot of
@@TheGreatFrieGMD we dont know
@@TheGreatFrieGMD First of all the universe is 13.8 billion years old (not light years which is a distance). Secondly the observable universe's diameter is about 93.000.000.000 light years (not 150). It's bigger than light could have travelled since the universe came to existence because space itself is expanding. Thirdly we can't say how big the universe is because everything beyond the observable universe isn't observable for us.
Probably you have confused the size with the distance in which the great atractor's position is estimated (150.000.000 light years or more).

The sky you seen in the video, could be real in our eyes. We could even see the Milky Way Galaxy from Earth if light pollution wasn't a thing.
THE SOUND IS SO RELAXING💗
We need a part 2!
1:12... I just want NGC262 to come closer... So I can peacefully watch this beauty while sitting on a chair at 1AM... 😔

love that Skyrim OST
Thx man
Beautifly done.
Given how important the night sky was to our ancestors I wonder what sort of mythology would grow up around one of these galaxies so visible. Would they become the home of the gods?
Looks like we got a 100000 light year mirror here to reflect our galaxy!
You sir, you are different.
I personally want to believe that we are not alone in the universe
While our night sky looks beautiful with 0 light pollution I still think it It a bit... boring.
The only big feature we can see is arm of our Milky way and other galaxies or nebulae are just white smudges really. I would be so amazing if we lived closer to a nebula and it would take like 10-20% of our night sky or we we lived in a satelite galaxy and we'd have the entire beauty of a major galaxy right above our heads. Or if Andromeda was much closer that it is now.
It's amazing and terrifying at the same time. And the music is chef's kiss 💥
To think in like 2 Billion years some future specie ahead of the humans will be able to see Andromeda approaching at them... Those times would be cool to spectate, wouldn't it?
we would already fry ourselves with all the global warming we are making
I hope the reincarnation theory is true so I can witness it with my eyes
@@Nexandr ye, anyways, being positive and thinking the human could in any future make it against climate change, human specie won't be able to hold their genetics in two billion years, it surely Will change a lot, therefore it Will be another specie not so different to us, but not equal either. We've been here in only 200K years and our physical features has changed a lot already.
@@antoniosenese2756 I kinda believe death would be like an Astral travel / trip, where my "Soul" can go across space and time. If it is like that, I Surely wouldn't want to reincarnate in a limitated body.
