Good job! You seem really genuine, I'm a traveler myself and like learning about different places and RUclips is a good resource for that, but I'm just SO SERIOUSLY sick of people behaving like advertisers with abrasive TV voices and cutesy soundtracks putting on a show. I like that you actually talk like a real person and give information. Thank you for being real.
It's no wander Mexico is now number 8 of the 10 most visited countries in the world Will pass England & Germany in a short time by next year Will end up in 5th in about 2 years from now Good job and great video Greetings from Santa Monica, California, USA
Mi hermoso México, y aun faltan miles de cosas por conocer, buen trabajo. My beautiful Mexico, and there are still thousands of things to know, good work Mike.
On the east coast of the U.S., particularly in Virginia and the Carolina's... if you go near rivers from late May through early August on warm humid summer evenings you will see fireflies by the gazillions.
i know im late but u reminded me how we (+cousin) would lay back at d back of an elf truck(having a back massage rough road) and look at all d glistening trees filled with fireflies how fr chaotic tree dodgers to silent mesmerized children.. U know ur tired fr d 6-8 hours drive but hypnotized we would stay up all night just watching them as we travel from Baguio to visit our lola in Aurora.. Thanks Mik² i hope my son could still c them when we go.. It was really dark unurbanized n u could feel d spirit but with fireflies forming d shapes of the trees u felt peaceful
recently i visited Tennessee and saw those magical creatures in synchrony , i since searched for videos which capture them well , yours was the only one which came close and i 've seen NGC ones too. Good job.
I grew-up in NW OHIO and I used to L💖VE going outside around SunSet 🌄 + playing till the LIGHTENING BUGS came out ... And WATCHING in AMAZEMENT as they flitt about 😀👍 but We Always had to Head IN IMMEDIATELY Afterward, otherwise we'd get ATTACKED by MOSQUITOES 👎😩 So there was a SMALL WINDOW of Wonder Each Summer Evening 🤗❣️ Loved It ❗
i just want to thank you for this video first of all because i have searched for a video on this phenomena for years i have found nothing until now ...i have tried to describe this to others with much dismay i would fail miserably to describe this magical event to others ....with the advancement of our technology in photography i couldn't figure out why this hadn't been done yet only to find that this is not a normal occurrence n nature in fact it is a rare event...i had the privilege of witnessing such an event when i was in my teens in the 80s and have not ever been able to depict this enigmatic dance of the fireflies ....i hope to see more of this in the future but thank you so much for this beautiful footage you have truly captured the essence of this event
In South Carolina we call them lightning 🌩 bugs lol I am 50 years old and as a child growing up in N.C. we had fireflys everywhere in the summer. We loved catching them then letting them go.
Cool video!! I really liked it. I´m a biologist from Mexico and I loved the fact that you were interested not only in the whole event of the fireflies which is so pretty but you also took the time to investigated a little bit about this amazing organisms. Keep doing it!
Mike, that was beautiful! I really enjoy the way you give a whole background history on your vlogs. Then your face lights up with wonder when you are witnessing what you just described. There really are no words needed to describe the beautiful scene you just captured for us to watch with you. Dude AWESOME. Glad I found your channel. This Life worth living. Peace out. Kick the Grind.
wow very beautiful.. the truth is we have a firefly here in the Philippines and they form like a christmas light hanging on the tree but now it's very rare to find or to see them flying at night...and i miss them..
I lived in Tlaxcala and didn't even know this was a thing! Of course, I was just a little kid back then... hopefully I'll go this year to see it. Thanks for the video!
In Montréal while I was studying there in the summer one night I was walking through the woods for a night walk and I saw some lights blinking and I thought “no way they are fireflies...I haven’t seen one in a decade!” Then a lot of them started glowing and I was so amazed. It really is magical. I know it’s all chemistry on how they light up but it’s amazing.
It was like this down my street which is a dead end ...on the opposite side of my road there is a railway track and so no houses there was a small swampy muddy bush area between the road and the railway track fireflies lived there for years... millions of them..... Then the rail road company came and cut down all the bushes and trees and burned all that area the fireflies disappeared. about 4 years later you could see the occasional 3-4 flying around. but it was never the same.
Que bonito es ser mexicana y que otras personas vengan a ver todos los lugares increíbles que hay aquí ♥♥♥
