Video made it look easy. Took me an hr to take off the back tire with 6 flat head screwdrivers. Putting it back on was the hardest, almost impossible without 4 flat head screwdrivers and my mother to hold two of them😅. I really thought I was going to break something but it all worked out fine. Total of 2.5 hrs😢😂 Next time I’m just gonna take it to the shop but if they charge a lot…going straight to the store to buy a new one. 😂

I hope that any potential uploaders see this video and realize that the front wheel is where the actual challenge is, as the design seems to be very maintenance unfriendly. Would prefer to have mine fixed before that video surfaces, but would be a huge service to other Ninebot F series owners.
Yes we usi hydraulic hands 👐 ;D just take atention tu that part then you need to squeeze the tire and push it to the rim at sthe part of putting that back to the rim its main "seacret". Tire should go deeper in the rim then mounting, or use zip ties to add help holding ir in rim, so it will be 90% easier :) practice makes it perfect 👌 at the start of our repair business we also struggled with tire mounting :) so its normal thays its looks harder then you try yourseft and on video looks so easy :)

@@davidabell1535 I was in the same boat a few weeks ago try warming up the tire by putting it in a bucket of really hot water so the tire isn’t very tuff it makes it way more flexible tire levers help alot

@@jasonvirga9773 I used clamps and metal levers. You need a couple of really strong levers. I suggest buying heavy duty plastic ones rather than metal ones. Metal levers will stretch your disk.

To everyone in the comments struggling, here's how I managed to replace my rear tube in under 20 mins. - Remove wheel, and remove brake disk from wheel - Break bead around both sides of the tyre and apply a generous amount of WD40 - Clamp axle/spindle in a vice or similar - Lever tyre off rim with screwdriver or plastic tyre lever - Insert new tube in tyre - Allign valve stem to hole in wheel and slide first bead over wheel - Mount approx 1/4 of second bead as far as you can - Use zip tie to hold tyre in place - Working from opposite end to zip tie, hes hands or lever to force rest of bead back around to zip tie - Inflate tube as normal

I applied lubricant, used levers, but it seems like the diameter of rim is much higher than inner time of the 10X2.125 tire. I have no crue what I did wrong. Any advice?
Bit of advice for anyone who needs to fix a front wheel...don't bother on the road. It's designed in such a way to be one of the more frustrating experiences of your life. I mean even the nut covers don't have access to the tabs to pop them off like the rear tires...so you will destroy them unless you are carrying a tool to get them out which might still ruin them. I carried around spare tire & tube everywhere for emergencies...but just gave up and walked home to do the work in the shop. Pretty terrible design as fixing a flat easily and safely on the side if the road should be a major design consideration of all bikes and scooters.
I recently damaged the plastic covers surrounding the front wheel forks and I need to take it all apart to reseat the plastic cover over the screws. I can't tell how it all goes together and whether the reflector just pops out or if it needs to be unglued. A front wheel guide would be very helpful thank you. Plus I eventually want to add front suspension as well.
I have a f30 and it isn't possible to take off the back tire. Mechanics have been damaging their tools and won't touch them anymore. Is it possible to replace the whole wheel with a more updated model? Would that fit?
if you use the original BMS so its possible to change cells with hier capacity, but it wont work if you just want to replace with non original battery, as it has additional data wire, and without it the scooter would give battery comunication problem. So yes, but its complicated :)) but for exapmble if you would buy F25, so you could replace the battery with original from F30 ar F40 scooters
Helpful video but I have to say the tire was an absolute nightmare to get on using heat, zip ties, sweat and a couple hours. Even had a couple other people try. No idea why it was that hard to stretch that rubber over the wheel rim.
Hello the F30 is what I bought - may I ask you how to charge the battery. The reason why I ask is some batteries state you should not drain them past a certain level. For examle, do not drain the batteries past 30% because it will damage the battery and its or the life of the battery. Does that make sense? Thanks if you can help. Shawn
Hello, there are some true, that its best to charge to ~80% and discharge to ~30-40% to get best cycle count possible, but as scooter will be outdated in 2-3 years, so I would use it normally, charge after all rides. The worst thing for batteries is to leave them empty for long time, or even worse in colt. :) So just charge your scooter same as your phone :)
Yes its easier to give that job to profesionals :) we get lots of clients who tried them selves and failed, but also lots of succeed :) if you have lots of spare time so it worth the try, if not than its easier and sometimes cheaper to give it to service center :))
Just squeeze the tire to go in the rim, or use zip ties for help, fot this scooters is really easy to change, compared to ninebot max or some other scooters :) just follow all the steps slowly

probably you need to adjust a bit brake pads or brake disc a little blended you can try to bend it back by hand in the place where it scraping the brake pads.

Tried it. Spent two hours trying to get the new tire on. Gave up. Seems absolutely impossible to get the second half on once you have the first half on.
If it's not tubeless so it should be same easy, but if its tubuless than yes, its a bit more dificult, but all the magic is pushing the tire into the rim in one side as deep as possible, so it will be easy to put all the tire :) for all scooters is same principle ;)
its in lower part of the frame as in xiaomi or ninebot max, just to take it of it requires a lot more work, as it slides in from the front or back side, not that easy as on xiaomi. You should disasemble almost half of the scooter to remove the batery... ;/ this shooter is not repair friendly :)
@isaiahlopez6539 I mean just put in hot water for a couple minutes to soften the tire up... leaving out in the sun for a little bit will do the same thing
They changed them from the time we were filming the video from regular to tubeless. Tubeless is better choice :) so to replace them should be something as ninebot max tire.

Main thing is to squeeze tire and push one side to the rim, so you get extra 1cm to miunt it, you can use zip ties for help hold the tire, its not easy then you do first time, but its really doable :) but easiest solution is to deliver to scooter service center like ours. Not worth your time, bring your scooter to a pro (Repair shop). This is VERY VERY difficult to do on your own. Youll understand when you try to mount the tire. Not worth my time, would rather pay a pro.

That tire replacement is no joke without the proper tools. I punctured the new innertube when trying to put tire over it.

I sprayed the rim with WD-40 which made it easier to install the tire.
try heating the tire in s basin of very hot water, it's still a pain

Xiaomi has 8.5-inch tubes, and this one has 10 inches, so better use 10-inch tubes, but Xiaomi tubes also should be possible to mount as its rubber :)

This is only rear tyre. front tyre is different because of the tricky valve.

Is there any reason why you have some stupid music louder than the actual vocal audio? Makes the video pointless.

Not worth your time, bring your scooter to a pro (Repair shop). This is VERY VERY difficult to do on your own. Youll understand when you try to mount the tire. Not worth my time, would rather pay a pro.

After just attempting this I have concluded that this is a royal pain in the ass! Also, punctured the new tube trying to put the tire back on!
