Good to know the 2 piece is just as hot as the 1 piece. My 1piece bedlam is nasty. My bedlam was 230 out the wrapper. Not sure what it has now with 80 hits.
.. and i have a question about passing compression. Ive been out of the game for about 15years. whats the deal with passing after hitting? is it good or bad, im assuming its the life of the bat? They dont test compression in our city league, they just make sure its stamped usssa. Sorry im a rookie its been awhile.
@@hittingwiththenation I remember the bj fulk mayhem, the dark blue mayham XL, and the white barrel with green and blue lettering XL with m75 tech, I believe..
Cole, have you been swinging the 2 piece Bedlam? Curious on durability, I dont get tested for league and trying to decide between 2 pc Bedlam and Riley Pro M1 ( my buddy has broken 2 of the Rileys, so alittle cautious to buy)...fyi we hit Classic M's (which suck!!!) Any info would help, thx!
Thanks, I usually swing a long barrel 1oz endload so leaning towards Riley, but if Bedlam lasts longer and similar preforming might just have to try, can get both for pretty much same price right now
Ball speed isn’t stupid. Squaring the ball up equals maximum energy transfer and velocity. You have a tomahawk swing so you squaring it up will be hitting it down into the ground. When you cut the ball, you’re trading energy into the ball for spin because you’re missing half of the ball. For a player who has an upward swing, the highs velo will be a ball in the air or top spin.
In the context of a bat review, batted ball speed is one of the most important factors as it correlates to performance, compression, and is one of the values in the BPF certification requirement of
@MarraSoftball I understand your points, and they are very valid. However, for it to be useful data, you would have to take away a lot of variables. I use it to show about what speed I get when I hit the ball down on a line. So, from bat to bat, people could see if there is a difference. But from an actual review standpoint, it doesn't show much. You would need to have a robot swing the bats the same speed every swing. And the bats would all need to be testing at the same compression. I have also hit different speeds on different pocket radars with the same bat/swing.
@@hittingwiththenation my crew has pocket radars. They’re all testing within the +\- 1mph ball speed of one another which is the tolerance range. I’m aware of the variables. That’s why it takes the same ball, on a tee, hit in the same spot of the bat. That’s why one must use statistical tools once the mph is exported to show anything meaningful. Specifically, an IMR control chart, followed by an ANOVA to show if the data sets are truly the same within 95% confidence (3 standard deviation). I’m a scientist/engineer and a former member of the ASTM softball/baseball chapter. This is the stuff I live for. Considering battled ball velocity is literally the thing that decides whether a bat gets certified or not, radar is the only metric that means anything assuming you create the most like for like conditions and are skilled enough to be as consistent as possible. Most of the time when people say radar doesn’t mean anything, or is stupid, it’s from folks that don’t know how it all works together, and they get confused when it’s not producing values they expect. That’s the beauty of science - it doesn’t care what you expect, it is what it is.
Im glad worth finally caught up to the rest of the 240 world
My next bat for sure! 🔥 thanks for the review!
I am really diggin' that green one!! Looks sick!!
It looks even better in person, in my opinion

Any videos of the long barrel yet?
Good video Cole.
Where did you get the white roller bag in the background????????
Can you do a review on the worth bedlam ASA?
I honestly didn’t expect them to pass at the end of the video especially the one piece.
Me neither. We actually hit them more than the Resmondo cause some guys came out after to hit.

How many swings would you say you put on them?

Is this bat better than the Tantrum?
All these bats make me want them all, so which do you prefer one piece or a two piece?
Fing the bat that fits the specs that are best for you.
Do these have the smaller knob?
Yes they do
How does this compare to the LS genesis piece 220 or 240 bat?
The knobcuff takes away 0.4 from the endload BTW.
The knob cuff weights .4 yes, I understand what you are saying. Also, just so you know there is no real ".5" or "full oz" endload
Can these bats be used in a senior league?
@@johnverschoor7513 if the senior league accepts usssa bats.
So what softballs do you all normally hit the most in bp? Thanks
I only hit the Worth Platinums. It gets really hot in Texas and if I use real balls they only last me one summer maybe. Then they are mush.
Giveaway the one peice lol 😮
bedlam or resmondo. and why? your choice.

@tylerlavergne8396 just before that was the red and green (aka booger) those had to be the most shaved bats of all time
@hittingwiththenation yea, I remember those too.. I wanna say those came out in 2007-2008ish..
1 piece Bedlam or 1 piece Connell?
Or.......both
