@@CxOrillion the weapons are still pretty strong because they ignore damage resistances. On bosses/mobs that have resistance/immunity they become some of the best weapons even in act3 beating most legendary weapons of same type.

For the forge, there is an easier path, to reach the 2nd set of levers, start from the central square where Nate is blocked of, and come back the way you came until you see a golden circle thinky on the floor (looks like the base of a pillar) from that jump once to the rocks to the site, loot the chest and climb some rocks to reach the 2nd set of levers with only 1 jump

holy shit u jsut blew my mind...I was wondering why "another" spider matriach queen was down there once i got to the underdark...thats THE SAME DAM ONE i blasted off into the chasm...wow...
You can also ignore all the Bridges and reach the way point with a misty step just from the side.. However you will want to backtrack and get the shield mould since it's easily the best shield in the game since it provides you with reel when misses instead of when hit, and when hit it gives you a reaction to knock your attacker prone if thei fail a dexterity save. You can knly craft 2 items. Ensure you craft the shield and then either the splint mail.or scale mail. The weapons are not worth it. Do remember the final boss drops a heavy armor helmet which also grants crit immunity. So if you want. Crit immunity is extremly strong especially for barbarians and classes that uses concentration spells.
The only way the weapons are worth it is if you're doing an all light armor party (But why lol). Shield and both armor are easy S-tier pickups, and the weapons are like... low A-tier.

It's a single thing, you either have it (and take 50% less damage) or you don't. You're either vulnerable (and take twice the damage) or you don't. A wet tiefling wearing this helmet and a darkfire shortbow will still take 50% fire damage, the exact same amount he'd take if he wasn't wet and had neither of those items- because it's a tiefling and has fire resistance by default. The different 'arrows' above the resistance icon don't mean it's a greater or lesser resistance, they show which source of this damage type you're resistant to. In case again of fire resistance, a white arrow means you're only resistant to physical fire damage (like a sword dipped in a candle (cause apparently steel is flammable in this universe) or a torch), a blue arrow means you're only resistant to magical fire (because Gale casted a fireball without asking how big the room is), and both arrows means you're completely fire resistant. Hey there, i hope this finds everyone well, may I please get some advice, I just created a necromancer wizard, level 3 at the moment, I've just read the Necromancy of thay book, the first part, Id just like to know what build i should use for my character, like spells etc, and if necromancy works how i think it does, raising a small army of undead, thanks a tonne!
You’ll get your first true necromancer spell at level 5 with Animate dead to get a few zombies/skeletons other than that use whatever spells you like. Probably poison and necrotic spells if you wanna be thematic.
I literally killed tge golem in 4 terns with shadowhart and karlach plus magic missle sp. Karlach being able to attack 3 times while raged and with gwm she does like almost 100 damege a turn if she gets all her hits
Why is the Warped headband of intelligence not on the list? It is 1 of the best filler stat item in the game. It literally gives you 17 int regardless of what you invested into intelligence. You can be an 8 int eldritch knight with crap spells damage, then equip the headband and all of a sudden you can cast a 3-30 firebolt as an action.
If that Headband of Inteligence is still impressing you after 3 years of being in early acces then your mind will be blown when you find the vendor in the Gith Creche and the item she sells.
you can craft 2, as there are only 2 mithril ores in the area. But I saved right before crafting the second one to see what the weapon is all about. I ended up crafting the 2 armors (1 on my paladin, 1 for shadowheart)
hm i managed to kill the forge guy without using the hammer, didnt even get close to it to try it out, as long as he stands in the lava he is only resistant to most stuff und immune to some, so you can just kil him that way
Is the adamantine longsword better than the Everburn for paladin build? I think everburn dishes out more damage because of the extra fire damage, I tested it out before this comment
Everburn doesn't have the resistance bypass. It'll do more damage on most enemies (3.5 per hit, on average if it's +1d6 fire), but if they're slashing resistant the adamantine sword is a bit better. since you're usually losing more than 3.5 slashing once you count strength boosts.
Dont use the hammer, you gonna miss achivement! Just kite the boss around and hit him with ranged attacks,: takes like forever but its easy. Drink lots of potions
This all tail end of the Early Access content. Like at the end of Act 1. None of this gear is obtainable early. It'll take people about 3 days (give or take 1 day) to reach this stuff, and that is if they already know what to do to get there.
Underdark is like mid Act 1, there is more after it and the Foundry before going to Act 2, like a LOT more. The remaining parts of Act 1 that weren't in early access easily add up to a good 20-30 hours of gameplay. Act 1 is crazy big.
Its genuinly suprising how many comments are from non native english speakers, its like every second comment on this video has blaring grammar or spelling mistakes lol. Nothing wrong with that obv, just think its uncommon
Sigh - I don’t know if I’ve run into a bug but after defeating Grym and getting a first armor made, I’m unable to activate the lava or add another ore. Brought the platform up, inserted my 2nd mold but the place where the ore goes isn’t clickable anymore.
It happens to me too, easy fix is area search, select forge component, close menu as you're activating the object. Idk why it fixed it for me but I got all 4 of my pieces after figuring it out. Gl
Hey I Hope someone sees this and can help me out. In the Forge I was only able to craft one item. The Grymforge boss Grym (was his name xD) is laying on top of the lever thing. So I cant use the valve to flood in lava and I cant use the lever to put in a mold and obviously I cant move Grym around because he weighs 3000kg. I have tried re-loarding, I have tried multiple long rests, but nothing did help. Any other suggestions?
Use the area search function. (Idk PC but hold A on controller) then you can select it even under him. Also close the search box that opens if it bugs out. I noticed the forge is weird with it. So search, select, close menu as you activate object. This should get you covered.
12:42 I don't understand how you look at 16 ac with a limit of +2 from dex and say that it can get to 19. that is some real tripping over your brain that you full sent into the video
Soooo on the grymforge I kinda just brute forced everything theres a path around back where i you fight the drow with the nice boots, that strong enough folk (karlach) can jump across to get to the teleporter i found the mythril by the demon thingies because I took a wrong turn. But I found the forge did the stuff for a dope new shield and boom this big motha fucka so i fight and I wipe. But I learned As long as you're just attacking with the raged barbarian infront of it, it focuses in on them and as long as it's in the lava it can take damage. So I used withers to summon a bard with shadowheart to buff and heal karlach. alternated speed potions the two scrolls of haste I had every potion of healing and 3 greaters every spell slot on my sorc and about 30 minutes demon momma slashin at the big metal boy and it went down.
“Early game” “underdark” goodness. I’ve got 20+ hours in full release so far and have not gone to underdark yet. This game is so crazy that something 20+ hours in is considered early game 😮
They said that if you tried to blitz the game, only doing main quest stuff and win all the fights in one go it’s at least about 75 to 90 hours but that if you try to speed run it
You can cheese grymforge by useing a solo mage. Activate the fight and fly or misty step to the pathway leading to the forge. Enemies cant hit you there and you can cantrip them to death. Also if you have issues keeping him in lava using a summon like distraction kitty will lead him back in. Dont forget you can half health him by smashing him in the forge, you can activate the lever with arrows. :)
For Grym, you CAN damage him with bludgeoning damage while it's softened by the lava, I killed him without using the forge hammer with my monk without issues (there's actually a steam achievement for that)
You can damage him with any damage while he is softened by the lava. The whole point of the fight is to keep the lava debuff on him always. It stays on him for 2 turns. If it falls off he becomes immune to every type of damage.

Another spell will probably come in late game called create undead which will give you ghouls
the staff of the hag let you control a corpse, but note that normal ppl will refuse to speak with you(at least in the druid grove)
Where is it located?
@@thelordsauron Blighted village/Find the big dumb orcs.
If that Headband of Inteligence is still impressing you after 3 years of being in early acces then your mind will be blown when you find the vendor in the Gith Creche and the item she sells.
The headband was nerfed for release. It no longer sets your int to 17. One site says it's now just +2 Int and another said +3.
@@sifumode9460 one site... So you're telling me you haven't even acquired the actual headband... Well, I did and it sets it to 17.
*Men-Zoh-Ber-Ran-Zan*
But you got it close enough!
There's a third Mithril Ore... you have to pick pocket Auntie Ethel
Your misty step for rouge vs my misty step for barbarian.
Under dark has all my fave items
You missed shield mould and there is a better version of Drow armor on Minthara.
yea hers is way better
great video, what is the name of the helmet on the cleric at minute 3:58 ? thanks
Can I decontruct weapons? or are there any more mithril ore around the map or in the game at all?
how did you craft more then 1 adamantine item? the lava vault didnt turn for me after 1 use
Need to add mold, then the adamantine then use lava and then use the hammer.
you can craft 2, as there are only 2 mithril ores in the area. But I saved right before crafting the second one to see what the weapon is all about. I ended up crafting the 2 armors (1 on my paladin, 1 for shadowheart)
After I made my armor the lava wouldn’t turn off and now it doesn’t go up or down so I have to waypoint out and feather fall down
@kharzeGaming where did you find Shadowhearts gold mask? I have not seen that yet
is there possibility of this game having modding community s00n ?
Question guys I play on ps5 and I don’t know how to swap my armor pls help it’s pissing me off
Go into your inventory and click on the armor you are wearing. On the right.
what level should I be when I attempt this? I'm in the underdark now at level 4
bro this game is huge , i dont even know there is a forge and there is a boss right there and i am middle of the act 2 ahahaha
Are the weapons good that you can make from the forge?
They're not bad, but stuff that's just as good is right around the corner in act 2. The armor and shield is some of the best in the game.
just use mage hand bro.
Is the spidersilk armor not better for roges or do I miss something there?
What happens if you leave the area with the first helmet
Should I be using my gold to buy armor? Because... I only have 1407 gold lol. And the armor doesn't a lot better
00:06 how to get that gloves? Combined with mithril armor is pure style
Drow rhymes with cow, not flow.
I would not consider the underdark early game. Those fights are not early game considering max level is what, 10/11?
Max level is 12 and it is in act 1 so I’d say it’s pretty early game
Yeah i was there at level 4, nothing too tough
Act 1 is early game, and Underdark is all Act 1.
Is there any gloves that match the rogue set??(not minthara's) or is it gloveless??
not sure if the game was updated or my forge is bugged, but the forge is "stuck" when I tried to use it again.
Wow I really wish I'd known about using the hammer on him lol
The mithrill vein gave me only 2 Pieces of i cannot forge all the item, why?
For the love of god, give Gale a magic item already.
hm i managed to kill the forge guy without using the hammer, didnt even get close to it to try it out, as long as he stands in the lava he is only resistant to most stuff und immune to some, so you can just kil him that way
Hey a heads up for the pre thats down the path to the forge if you sneak the flying demon things wont spawn
Have they patched the hammer method of killing the boss, it says he's immune to bludgering damage
I just killed him with the forge hammer
Is the adamantine longsword better than the Everburn for paladin build? I think everburn dishes out more damage because of the extra fire damage, I tested it out before this comment
Everburn doesn't have the resistance bypass. It'll do more damage on most enemies (3.5 per hit, on average if it's +1d6 fire), but if they're slashing resistant the adamantine sword is a bit better. since you're usually losing more than 3.5 slashing once you count strength boosts.
I was smart enough, that i crafted both Armorsets and not the weapons :'D
What is that gold helmet called?
1:46 AFAIK its pronounced Men-zoe-ber-ran-zan.
You speak as though there is not 100+ hours of gameplay left AFTER getting this stuff.
Underdark is like mid Act 1, there is more after it and the Foundry before going to Act 2, like a LOT more. The remaining parts of Act 1 that weren't in early access easily add up to a good 20-30 hours of gameplay. Act 1 is crazy big.
@@Amardarial Or you just go to act 2 from there.
Maybe i am crazy bro but i hear this grainly sound in the back it's so annoying.
Otherwise ty for sharing this precious stuff
The machine stops taking damage by the hammer after the first time
He just needs to be over heated, send him into the lava again and he can be stamped again.
misty step for the helm doesnt work
Wait what about the shield mold I can’t find that one
The spidersilk armor for rogues is better
Hunters Mark is a spell
Its genuinly suprising how many comments are from non native english speakers, its like every second comment on this video has blaring grammar or spelling mistakes lol. Nothing wrong with that obv, just think its uncommon
Whats wrong with your Gale? You not feeding him magic? lol
Sigh - I don’t know if I’ve run into a bug but after defeating Grym and getting a first armor made, I’m unable to activate the lava or add another ore.
Brought the platform up, inserted my 2nd mold but the place where the ore goes isn’t clickable anymore.
this wtf i have the same thing if you fix it plz tell me
It happens to me too, easy fix is area search, select forge component, close menu as you're activating the object. Idk why it fixed it for me but I got all 4 of my pieces after figuring it out. Gl
@@lotus_pdxg3586check other comment in this thread. I had issues too. I'm just replying to you so you get a notification lol
@@ethanbaker9415i'm having the same issue & your solution doesn't work unfortunately. I'm on ps5
Is the first chest locked for anyone else?
12:42 I don't understand how you look at 16 ac with a limit of +2 from dex and say that it can get to 19. that is some real tripping over your brain that you full sent into the video
Doesn’t the scale mail only let you have extra 2 from dex so it would be the same as the heavy
Long sword nerfed
It keeps telling me i can't
I got an adamante ore but I can’t do shit with it, I got one mithril ore and one adamante ore someone help!
Game is easily 100+
They said that if you tried to blitz the game, only doing main quest stuff and win all the fights in one go it’s at least about 75 to 90 hours but that if you try to speed run it
It all depends on what you do, My Druid was in Underdark in about 4 hours cos i specifically wanted some stuff from there
@LunaPPK I haven't gone to the underdaie yet I'm 69 hours in.
I have wasted 75+ hr in fighting the spider queen, and you worrying abt underdark 👀 😂😂
I killed him in just 3 turns by throwing shit at him. Really doesn't need the forge with any kind of tavern brawler build
@@Matte8lackno he is resetient to normal damege, thunder, acid and force and is immune to everything else. But he is weak to bludgeoning
