He style of play literally fits so perfectly with okc it’s not even funny. He loves getting steals and running the fast break which we are built off of. Also he helps collapse the defense to where one of our stars are always open.
da noony he also played for Billy Donovan in college. (Pretty sure they also won a National championship)

The thing I like about him is that he brings defensive intensity similar to Andre Robersons, but he isn't a complete liability offensively like roberson is

Bruskieez now we can play 5vs5 offense instead of 4vs5 offense. What always pissed me off about Roberson(and Huestis and T Ferg) is that he never moved around with the ball. Once you passed it to him he’d just stand there as if someone just handed him their baby and he’s just standing their waiting for someone to take it from him lol....we already have Adams who doesn’t move with the ball, we certainly don’t need it from our god damn SG as well....brewer is gonna fit riiiiiight in!

GodMelo Anthony Dre is a much better defender but Brewer fits right in, still has quickness to guard small fast guards but his length is what makes him great defensively
I would still start Roberson over Brewer because he would’ve held harden and Thompson to like 33% shooting this year but still Brewer is nice

Lonzo must've been holding him back, because he's playing great now (obvious sarcasm). I'm just applying the "Westbrick makes everybody worse" logic to this. Bigger opportunities and the right fit can make ANY player thrive and play on a whole new level. I'm tired of hearing these arguments for any player or team. Major props to Brewer though.

demoCRIPS & reBLOODlicans 1 we needed a 4th guy like him who could handle the ball in our starting lineup! Roberson, Huestis, and T Ferg rarely ever moved with the ball in their hands so this is a nice change of pace for the thunder
Wei Dai brewer is pretty solid on defense just being the nuisance that he is.....and he is a WAY better offensive player then Roberson ever was being able to space the floor, get a lot of easy points in transition, and hit a god damn free throw!
With Brew the Thunder just might be untouchable now. Melo and PG gotta get out of their slumps, but I'm sure they will.

I like brewer because he forces Westbrook to play off ball a bit more, obviously he hustles like a freaking maniac, is a player with a lot of experience that we can have at the 2, and his style of play is contagious and makes everyone playing very unselfish and with a lot of hustle! He’s gonna fit riiiiiight in!

Im happy for brewer, im glad we let him go to where he wanted to. I think he should start over roberson if roberson ever comes back lol. All around just a better player than roberson and can take on the toughest defensive assignments as well. Okc can look pretty damn good now but their bench production is still lacking. Felton and patterson needa step up or melo needs to somewhat get back to his old self again.
