I agree about snow days. I love it when the town gets buried in snow. I can relax , and I can put my truck in 4wd and go plowing thru the snow, and pull a couple of people out of the snow banks .
lol! Snow tires definitely NOT required… people have this perception that North Dakota is just covered in snow for nine months out of the year. As of today, it’s about the middle of November and our high is going to be 53 and sunny. No snow yet! It’s not that bad!
Hey there, just moved to Mandan from California today actually is there any good winter sports or stuff to do out here? Or like what areas for snowboarding and stuff?
Been here since ‘12. You missed the strong economy. Lots of high paying jobs. 5 1/2 hours to Terry Peak ski area. Good mountain biking trail around Lake Harmon.
I am planning on moving to North Dakota Bismarck actually I am so tired of California I've had enough this is the most unconstitutional state in the United States
Did you watch the video by chance? The locally owned restaurants are OUTSTANDING here. There are options for everyone and basically every kind of taste.
There are some GREAT mom and pop eateries in The Biz! My wife and I love to explore local, small business restaurants wherever we travel and do the same at home in The Biz. In the 4 years we've lived here, they've added several good ones. With this new America First administration inside The Beltway out east, I look for more small mom and pop restaurants to be established.

Useful video! Could you please describe the allergy season(s) in Bismarck and does it bother you? Thanks!
I love Bismarck too. Glad that you're here.

This is a pretty decent guide to what it's like living here.
You forgot one thing. Snow tires are required. Kidding not kidding.

The best things about Bismarck
1) always plenty of jobs
2) cost of living is lower than big cities
3) fall is beautiful
I am the fourth generation living in North Dakota and third generation living in Bismarck!
I'm Dakota North. I'm fascinated with my namesake state.
I've been here twenty years, and can't wait to get the hell out!
Ya buddy

1)have to drive to work during a blizzard
2) lots people are very entitled and rude
3) they dont accept outsiders
Where did you come from?
Originally from Illinois but moved here from Arizona. North Dakota is a good spot!
U forgot miles of 4 wheeler trails at the desert.
I am planning on moving to North Dakota Bismarck actually I am so tired of California I've had enough this is the most unconstitutional state in the United States
I'd be delighted to switch places with you.
Ya might wanna start with a more liberal place
Im from the midewest. I moved to the southeast 27 years ago due to the rude.
Sorry to hear that! I have not experienced people being rude here but I'm sure everyone has a different experience.
In and out 😂 dought it
U only been up north 😂😂😂 dude monisota is next to nd and snow sucks
Big chain restaurants, not something to brag about. Are the locally owned restaurants below standard.
I appreciate your feedback @markrichards6863. Is there anything else you'd like to see more of in future Bismarck videos?
@@corymclindsay6509 yes
