Pablo is really meant to be in the music industry. He has it all like, a very creative person, a good writer, singer, composer you name it all! I imagine myself listening to his songs while on a long road trip.
This guy will trigger these emotions that you kept inside, once you hear them, tears will just automatically fall because he made you feel understood, because it gave you comfort. And of course the lyrics are so beautiful, specially the ones in tagalog, he used deep Tagalog words, that you haven’t heard in a while (as a filo) which adds up to it’s poetic approach 🥺 This is the reason why I swerved from manok to hatdog eh 😭
His songs are all part of the whole story, it’s not like a collection of random songs put together to make an album. It’s a complete soundtrack to the story he wants to tell and the story is very personal and intimate. Our pinuno doesn’t believe in doing things half heartedly. He always go all the ay through. There are no fillers in his albums even the instrumental of Breathe is very intentional. Brillant musician.
This Alon album is truly a masterpiece. Just perfection from one of the best songwriters/composers/producers the world has ever had. He is on a league of his own. I am just in awe of Pablo’s genius. Everthing was well thought off - the lyrics, production, album title, the “storyline”, the concept, etc. Pablo is God’s gift to all of us.
I thought Kumunoy was the track to break me, it did, but TBWCW is something else. The music alone is so haunting and layered with Pablo’s words and voice = death by goosebumps.

I completely agree. I am not a massive rap fan, but the lyrics is what makes you want to listen to it over and over again. Even the flow of the rap has grown on me. La Luna, i did not like it at first, it felt so heavy. but after actually focusing on the lyrics, it was a whole new experience.
