Finally, an Empire that isn’t pure evil. While you did have the pure evils of Vayne, Bergan and Ghis, you also had the morally greys like Doctor Cid and Gabranth, and the pure goods too, from Larsa, Drace, the emperor himself and as we later find out, Reddas and Balthier. It’s refreshing to fight an empire that isn’t pure evil like in XIV, but one that has good people in it.
Are we going to forget Zargabaath? The *second* Vayne was gone and ther war was over, he was ready, willing, and able to put his life on the line to *save* the people of the city he was *just at war with* from being crushed by a falling metal tornado.
I completely agree with your point; What's more, it's not just one super villain that we have to fight but a multitude of villains. We are immersed in a real, very well-scripted story, worthy of a film.
the empire in 14 isn't pure evil either! you just don't get to meet many people that aren't until EW. Even the evil ones in Garlemald didn't stand much of a chance. They had been manipulated and raised since birth by an immortal evil being to thrive on evil shit.
Easily one of the most epic & grand pieces of music in the entire Final Fantasy music catalog. How I really wish that Square-Enix would bring back Hitoshi Sakimoto to score another Final Fantasy game🤞🙏🤞
@@ArcaniaSkypirateDen9516 I would never expect anything less from one of the 2 music geniuses responsible for the legendary Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack👍
I'd recomend you guys to hear his early pieces... Guy's been a genious since the era of TURBOGRAFX 16 (yes, TURBOGRAFX 16). Check Magical Chase Soundtrack, it's here on youtube. You're gonna hear glorious sounds!!
I loved Hamauzu and his work on 13 and the games that came after, but in a note on 13's soundtrack from Kitase he mentions that when he thought of 13 having an orchestrated soundtrack he immediately thought of Hamauzu. And knowing what I do now, I'm scratching my head thinking: really? Uematsu is obvious but after Sakimoto? Hamauzu? That's who you thought of for an orchestrated soundtrack. I don't say this like he isn't any good at it, but it's just that he's a lot more experimental I feel at least by comparison. So I just think it's weird that for an orchestrated soundtrack, Kitase's first thought was Hamauzu apparently. And I love his stuff. A lot.
i always wanted to play the game as the empire to be honest, they did a good job on their own on this one, unfortunately it was their last, everything else they made have been a remake of 7 thought 12 ( omitting 9) with a high focus on 7 and 12
I'm here because this song randomly popped into my head, as it often does.

The best soundtrack ever made could only be part of the best videogame ever made. Simply two great masterpieces.

Star Wars vibes ❤
Yeah I hear a bit of the Imperial March in that.
@@civilwildman, yeah! Happy new Year dude🎉. Greetings from Brazil
There aren't any Star Wars names in this game, but it has the strongest Star Wars vibes in the series 😁 Balthier is FF equivalent of Han Solo ;)
"No. No, Brother, I will not."
música tem um toque imperial quê mostra uma imponência inexplicável.

I am always listen Final Fantasy series OST but to be honest, ost of FF XII is the very best for me.
Does anyone else hear some possible influence from Ride of the Valkyries?
Yeah it kinda does have that but it always reminds me of the Imperial March from Star Wars
The best music.

Ff12 is the best in the series
YES absolutely!
Followed closely by FF Tactics 👌🏻
Nah, FF X will always be king. Nothing beats that main plot & characters. Good luck.
