Splendid’s death here was probably one of the worst deaths in HTF. It’s so disgusting, I’m surprised this part of this episode wasn’t deleted like Wishy Washy. Same for Sniffles’ death in Tongue In Cheek.
I know right, this episodes death and the way sniffles died, absolutely terrified and disgusted me as a kid so much that it still sticks with me today. (I maybe be exaggerating, but when I think of happy tree friends those are the two I think about first)

I know it’s usually his stupidity and incompetence that gets people killed by accident, but I kind of think he deserved the fate he got from what he did to Handy, the Mole especially, PA’s kid and that whole pond. He didn’t care about any of them, and murdered the Mole out of anger.
This death was worst than you think because as you know splendid can survive the things other htf characters can not like being burned crushed or basically just regular deaths but this killed him. O.o

Putting everything else aside, Splendid vaporized the Mole simply because the latter honked Splendid's laser beam. How petty and uncharacteristic of Splendid who, while he kills a lot of people, at least does so despite his good intentions, and never out of malice. That's almost more disturbing than his own death.
You can't really blame Lumpy for not dying in this episode, for once, none of the deaths were his fault. Also, hurray at seeing that jackass Splendid finally get killed. Hopefully he'll start to die more regularly in future episodes (if there ARE any future episodes)

How petty and uncharacteristic of Splendid who, while he kills a lot of people, at least does so despite his good intentions, and never out of malice. That's almost more disturbing than his own death.

You can't really blame Lumpy for not dying in this episode, for once, none of the deaths were his fault.
Also, hurray at seeing that jackass Splendid finally get killed. Hopefully he'll start to die more regularly in future episodes (if there ARE any future episodes)
